My computer-based business is suffering because Chrome keeps disappearing from my screen. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

You might want to try Brave.com. I understand it’s becoming more like Chrome.

Nope, mine works fine. But I’m also on Linux instead of buggy Win10.

Mine is working. Never had an issue with it.

I use avast at home.
But no, it’s working fine for me at work.

I normally use the SlimJet browser. But I do keep a copy of Chrome around. Just fired it up and went a couple of places. Appears to be behaving itself.

Chrome....pfffft. Unless you’re in a position where you’re forced to use it.

I have Chrome on a laptop. It was sluggish today. A number of govt. and commercial sites I have gone to recently seem to have had problems.
I think there is a disturbance in the Force

I’m running Windows 10, Google Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit).
No issues at all.

Mine seems to be working.
You may need a system reboot. Sometimes ‘clutter’ will cause problems.

Opera, Vivaldi, Pale Moon, SeaMonkey are all superior to Chrome and respect your privacy. UC Browser is out of China but it is by far the fastest for youtube.

Unfortunately just saying you are using Chrome is not helpful, since the culprit could the the site or sites you are browsing with Chrome, if you have updated to the latest version of Chrome, the version of your OS, and any cached or saved data related to the sites you are having issues with.
I would first try accessing the sites with another browser.

Re Opera: It’s good, but was sold to the Chinese.
Check out Vivaldi, which is made by the Norwegian programmers who designed Opera. I found it about 3 weeks ago, and I think its great. Fast, lots of features, not a memory hog, and built off of the open version of the Chromium engine.
