To kick it off.
Anyone know what it feels like to be told you will be shot one by one?
We welcome conservatives.
Don't know if a Nevada version of your license plate is available...
I wasn’t going to ‘say’ your plate number on the open forum...
One of the higher ups at TJ’s was who /I called this morning. Sj=he let me know that power was cur=t off to many pri=oducts. she assured me that they would replace. :)
I think Californians are getting tired of the RATs. The Ninth Circuit just UPHELD a lower court injunction on Prop 63’s high cap magazine ban. So for the present, high cap magazines are still legal to possess. Now after a trial on the merits, it will be interesting to see if the local federal courts will make that stay permanent. And if they do, the whole of Prob 63 will go down the $hitter. All the nonsense about having to have a “license” to purchase ammuniton and bunch of other nonsense will go away. And if they don’t, welcome to your “new” SCOTUS!
I appreciate that you were subjected to immense stress.
Sorry about that.
Awful stuff, but you are OK, and that is important.
Sometimes. I remember a thread where the guy’s wife unexpectedly went into labor, and he started a prayer thread before they left the house!
(I don’t know if she killed him as soon as she could...)
“Nevada is a shall issue/open carry state with no income tax.”
Nevada is still Las Vegas, and “everything else!” My wife grew up in LV. Left 50 years ago. Now she hates to “go home,” because it’s as big a $hit hole as Los Angeles, only smaller. As CA has gone, so too will Nevada. Las Vegas is close to being able to control the entire state, and that is definitely not good.
Clark County: 2 milliion ( with tens of thousands of illegals)
Washoe County:$421,000 (#2)
Total Population: 3 Million (17 counties)

True, Nevada is not perfect, but it’s pretty darned close.
The tide is turning and perhaps it will soon meet your high standards?

Fox news just reported the gunman may have been mad at the grandmother because she didn’t want his girlfriend in the house.
Thank God you are ok! I saw it on tv & started praying that everyone would make it out.
California has a program for victims of violent crimes (CalVCP). They will pay for medical & mental health services + home or car modifications, etc.
Prayers for you well being!
You sound like one tough cookie! You go, girl!

Rural Nevada is a treasure! My wife was born in Fallon in a seven bed hospital. We have family members who are buried out at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Paradise Valley. My FiL worked in the dairy business in the Moapa Valley outside Las Vegas. That is the “real Nevada.” And although the family has made a fortune in Las Vegas, it’s not Nevada, and if allowed to continue to grow, it will consume the rest of the state.
Perfect.
The end of never.
Thank you.
Yes, I had several victim’s rights advocates and they were extremely helpful. Like today I woke up and called all the numbers that I needed to call to get my car and keys back ... and they helped me get home at 11:30PM last night. They are a great volunteer organization.
