“True, Nevada is not perfect, but its pretty darned close.”
Rural Nevada is a treasure! My wife was born in Fallon in a seven bed hospital. We have family members who are buried out at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Paradise Valley. My FiL worked in the dairy business in the Moapa Valley outside Las Vegas. That is the “real Nevada.” And although the family has made a fortune in Las Vegas, it’s not Nevada, and if allowed to continue to grow, it will consume the rest of the state.
Perfect.
The lake behind the dam will fill will mud someday; and the West will return to Nature.
