A Beverly Hills teen who calls herself a princess is furious at her mother for slashing her monthly $5K allowance.
Fifteen-year-old Nicolette, who appeared on the Dr. Phil show Tuesday, has lived a lavish California childhood a closet full of Chanel, Gucci, and Céline, personal drivers, exercise trainers, and her own credit card with zero limit. Some months, her credit card bills would be $10K, her mother, Nina, told Dr. Phil. I just paid the bill.(continued)

Her dad is probably a Democrat representative with a 50k annual income, less kickacks, extortion, bribes, etc., you know, the Clinton personal funding stream.
Parents are probably divorced and Mom did very well in the divorce agreement.
Weinstein’s lawyer.
;-)
Let her live the prodigal daughter experience. Sink or swim snowflake.
Did you miss the part about the hard working ‘single mom’.
Single working mom. Lots of money, no time.
I didn’t miss it, I don’t believe it.
I used to get a dime a week. And sometimes my parents forgot to give it to me and I didn’t say anything because it just didn’t matter. If I wanted money, I worked.
Have you ever met a “single working mom” who dishes out $10,000 a month for her daughter’s credit cards?
Good luck to any future husband(s).
“... Dr. Phil show ....”
Pretty much a freak show .... Dr. Phil another LA SFB victim.
I don’t blame the 15 year old in the least. The parents are fully to blame. They are the ones that spoiled her.
I can see the teen’s point. You cut her allowance by 80%, and it is a dramatic change in lifestyle. It doesn’t matter that it is a large number for a teen. If they cut her from $10,000/mo to $2000/mo, it would still feel the same. Or $10/mo to $2/mo.
All the teen knows is her parents allowance funded a certain lifestyle and now she can only afford a fraction of it.
Just horrible parenting. They should not have waited until she was 15 years old to start parenting her better. Parents are 100% to blame for running the child.
American men can go to the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia for good wives. Where can women go?
When I was a teenager in the early 60s, I got 75 cents a week. Probably equivalent to about $6.00 now. I guarantee that I earned it.
Of course they didn’t have to give me anything.
Article claims shes a single Mom and feels guilty about it! Also claims shed spent $100k on the kid over the past year. Few, honest single Moms can float that cash flow. Id wonder whether WERE the Dad and shes a welfare moll.
good question. I look forward to any women out there to answer such a question.
I washed dishes at elementary school in exchange for a meal, mowed the lawn, picked weeds, fed and cleaned-up after the dogs and other chores as needed. Didn’t get an allowance.
Mom is a dentist in Beverly Hills and has several offices.
I vividly remember that if I didn’t eat what mom made for supper.... I didn’t eat at all. And we worked chores if we wanted a little spending money. And we weren’t guaranteed that.
