5 of the Most Violent Cities in the WORLD Are Right Here in America
The Organic Prepper ^ | March 10, 2018 | Daisy Luther

When you think of the most dangerous, violent cities in the world, do you picture slums in Third World countries with vicious drug cartels or arrogant warlords? Maybe the kind of violence where enemies are decapitated and whole families are murdered seem like things that happen far away in some terrifying, exotic locale.

Some of this is true – but FIVE of the world’s most violent cities are right here on the American mainland and another is in an American territory. The list was created by researchers of anti-violence think-tank Seguridad, Justicia Y Paz (Security, Justice, and Peace), who made their rankings based on statistics of homicides per 100,000 residents.

Because Republicans eschew the poor and disadvantaged. Or do you see Republicans jumping into public office in these areas? Republicans write such cities off as useless bastions of people craving dependence.

I write with a broad brush, but is there not some truth to this, that Republicans do not have a clue when it comes to urban representation? Hopefully that’s changing.

I think Republican are not crooked enough to survive in big city politics.

That’s a good way to put it. It’s also a good way to concede.

15 of the top 20 are between Brazil and Mexico. I haven’t been to Mexico since 1992, I guess I better keep it that way.

Nor ruthless enough (except toward real conservatives).

Rubber knives in machine gun fights do not favor political longevity.

SL has long been enormously corrupt.

Probably excluded because they are all in armed conflict of one form or another.

Good point. In fact several California cities probably qualify.

Doesn’t change the fact that logically St. Louis City and St. Louis County comprise a contiguous metropolitan area.

Wow. What could it be?

I read Michael Novak in the 80s, The Spirit of Democratic Capitalism. Novak was an ardent Catholic, to be sure. He compared the North and South American continents to note the success of capitalism in the northern continent. He rejected the Marxist social justice pushed by Catholic bishops.

I’ll take ‘Countries with the most accurate reporting systems’ for $500 !

Countries where people just get ‘disappeared’ are not on the list.

I remember watching game shows in the 60’s and 70’s that featured Mexico vacations as a prize. Now, I’d guess not so much.
