No candidate has ever received so few endorsements. So what were the Waxahachie Daily Light, the Santa Barbara News-Press and others thinking?
On Sunday, October 16, the residents of St. Joseph, a fairly ordinary town of 75,000 in northwestern Missouri, awoke to discover that their local, family-owned newspaper had made history, in a manner of speaking. That day the St. Joseph News-Press became only the second newspaper in the nation to endorse Donald Trump, writing that the GOP candidate represents something different for a broad swath of America that is serious about wanting a less intrusive government, a more robust economic recovery and leadership that protects our interests around the world.

Six smart newspapers in the whole nation.
Eat it, Washington comPost.
We now live in a “Post-Newspapers as Kingmakers” type of world. They don’t have anywhere near the influence of say, 20 or 30 years ago. People get their news from many different sources. I don’t think it will ever go back to the old way, so long as the Grid is alive.
Kind of reminds me of Churchill’s statement after the Battle of Britain that, “Never has so much been owed by so many to so few”.
We think the rest of them hate Trump. What they really hate is . . . us.
How did a paper in Santa Barbara, CA endorse Trump?
What is a Newspaper?
That's the actual point. Newspapers are no longer relevant. Nobody except a few aging leftists in major urban centers gets their news from print newspapers anymore. Add to this the fact that most have sacrificed their credibility on the alter of "progressive" ideology and you have the reason why their near unanimous fawning endorsements of the democrat candidate didn't really matter.
Trump is us.. so yes, you are correct.
the elite can snap up a newspaper for a dollar and spew their slave labor nonsense. Everyone loves slave labor! Lets all live in Venazuela- its so vibrant! For Wakanda!
FakeNewsMSM collusion with the Clinton campaign?
Election year 2016 has been a radically unusual moment in the staid, old-fashioned world of newspaper endorsements. Big newspapers have taken unprecedented steps like “un-endorsing” Trump (a totally new thing in newspaper history); even USA Today has stepped out of its usual neutral lane to tell people that under no circumstances should readers vote for Donald Trump as president. As of this writing, Clinton has more than 200 endorsements from daily and weekly newspapers in the United States.

Two weeks out, and the MSM was so sure of itself. Of course little did they know that evil Russian Bots had infiltrated Facebook and turned the population into zombies using the most effective $10,000 ad buy in world history. An ad so powerful, so crafty, and so Bot-like that no on actually remembers seeing it.
Donna, you are more right than most realize. The hatred of the left for independent minded who WONT be led like sheep is all consuming.
Nah, there is no media bias.
Nah, newspaper offices aren’t 99% Democrat party hacks.
Nah, they is all fair and balanced. We are just kookie Conservatives. All newspapers are all unbiased, donchaknow.
