Scott O Cain is the name and I ride on the MAGA train
Till Romney's RINOs came in, and tried for a choke again
In the Autumn of '16, we were weary from Obama's regime
I drank a beer when Florida fell, it was a time I remember oh so well
The night they drove old Hillary down
The exit polls were lyin'
The night they drove old Hitl'ry down
And all the anchors were cryin', they went:
Wah wah-wah wah-wah wah, wah-wah wah-wah wah-wah wah wah-wah!
Back with my wife in Tennessee, when one day she said to me
"Honey, quick come see, there goes the great DJT!"
Now I don't mind Hollywood, and I don't care if the Peso's no good
Just take California, leave the rest, 'cause from now on we'll have only the very best!
The night they drove old Hillary down
The exit polls were lyin'
The night they drove old Hillary down
And Martha Raddatz was cryin', she went:
Wah wah-wah wah-wah wah, wah-wah wah-wah wah-wah wah wah-wah!
Like my father before me, I'm Republican,
And like my brother before me, I took a MAGA stand
Well he was just 55, proud and brave, and he signed up for his country to save
I swear by the chads below my feet, you can't run a McCain 'cause it's sure defeat
The night they drove old Hillary down
The exit polls were lyin'
The night they drove old Hillary down
And all the anchors were cryin', they went:
Wah wah-wah wah-wah wah, wah-wah wah-wah wah-wah wah wah-wah!
Good one!
Joan Baez did a credible job with it, but her voice was a sad echo of its former glory by then.
She has bad judgment all around. She embraced communism and lost Dylan over that. Then she smoked ... well everything people smoked in the sixties and seventies and tried to sing outside of her range.
If she had used some sense she could have preserved her voice and had a stronger career.
nice
For any younger FReeps not familiar with the original song, you can take a listen here...

I loved The Band and I loved “The Last Waltz”,-——good memories.
.
I like the Band’s version a lot more, although hers isn’t bad.

At least from the recent disclosures we know that any sexual abuse by MLK was consensual.
She liked it.
Despite my singing, too!
One of my favorite songs of all time.
Thanks.
Thanks! Yeah it would be nice to see more blue states turning red tonight, but just not happening. But still, that epic event a year ago will echo through history.
Love it!
