Stephen Craig Paddock (April 9, 1953 - October 1, 2017) was an American mass murderer who committed a mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1, 2017, that left over 58 people dead and over 515 others injured. He resided in Mesquite, Nevada and was the partner of Marilou Danley Las Vegas Mass Shooting
Authorities had located 23 firearms&inside the hotel room, which he checked into on Thursday September 28, 2017, along with two platforms set up to shoot from. Paddock also had cameras to see police arriving. He is believed to have used long range rifles. Police suspect that at least one of the weapons was modified to allow it to function as an automatic weapon. The guns included a handgun, along with a .223 caliber and a .308 caliber rifle. All of the weapons were purchased legally.
Another 19 firearms were found in Paddocks Mesquite, Nevada home on October 2, 2017, along with explosives and several rounds of ammunition.
Several pounds of ammonium nitrate&, which is used to make explosives, were also found in Paddocks car. Early Life
Stephen Paddock's grew up in Sun Valley, California&. He had two brothers, Eric Paddock and Bruce Paddock. Stephen's father Benjamin Hoskins Paddock was a bank robber and a former member of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. Benjamin was diagnosed as a psychopathic& after his arrest in the late 1960s. Career
Paddock was an accountant for many years and had made millions of dollars investing in real estate. He was living in semi-retirement.
Personal Life
Paddock lived with his significant other Marilou Danley before the shooting.[6]
Paddock was not known to Las Vegas before his death. Paddock lived in a three-year-old, $396,000 two-bedroom home in the small retirement and golf community of Mesquite, Nevada, 80 miles north east of Las Vegas near the Arizona state border.
Stephen Paddock was an accountant for many years.[33] At one point, he was employed by a company that later became Lockheed Martin (1985 to 1988).
Paddock was a licensed hunter and private pilot, and owned an aircraft at Mesquite Metro Airport from 2007 to 2009. [4]
Stephen's brother Eric Paddock stated that he was a normal Las Vegas resident, eating burritos and gambling, and that he showed no political or religious affiliations. [ Gambling
On multiple occasions, Stephen Paddock gambled more than $10,000 per day and in some cases amounts more than $20,000 and $30,000 at Las Vegas casinos, according to an NBC News source who read the suspect's Multiple Currency Transaction Report (CTR) and a casino gaming executive.
I found that strange, too. Why bring all those guns up to the room? Makes me wonder if the plan was for someone else to be shooting as well but that they backed out.
An AR15/AR10 will fit very nicely inside a guitar case, with room left over for ammo, handgun, etc. Would hotel staff think anything of somebody carrying a guitar case in a hotel that's going to host a music festival?
Or, how about a golf bag? I could get several rifles in a golf bag. Plus, the AR type rifle can be reduced in size by half, easily.
Like Thomas Wictor, I think the family is lying. They knew.
The one brother that did say something was shaky at best.
We still need lots of info to better piece this together.

you are correct - he could have flown without valid medical.
anyone look up his tail numbers yet ?
or even what 2 aircraft he owned ? might make a difference if owned a Twin Otter versus a SuperCub with our deep state theories ( LOL )
Betting mother is the key
I don’t see any pics or video of the stands he built.
Am I missing it?
I’ve been playing 60’s and 70’s music over the past few weeks hoping I wake up and I’m 11 years old sleeping on the beach under the ratty old umbrella my parents had.
“Not to sound like a conspiracy nut...”
If that’s your intention, you failed.
Just sayin’
They aren't. Gamble and lose enough money and they'll give you a free room.
Plus his "girlfriend," if that's what she was, was in the gambling business, though I'm not sure exactly what her connections were.
Multiple trips of someone ferrying in their own bags would certainly have been noticed by those who make their living from tips from carrying those bags.
I wonder if the investigation will be thorough enough to look into this detail by interviewing bellhops and video, or if it will just be accepted “as is”. Time will tell.
Agreed. I don’t buy anything Big Media tries to sell me.
I used to carry several rifles bundled in a duffle bag before I lost them in an unfortunate canoeing accident.
My father in law is a Reno high roller. He makes serious bank on slots. He may be down $10k one minute and up $15k the next. Plus at the end of the year he gets the high roller bonus. Basically that’s a raffle drawing for the top high rollers. Where he has won several cars, motorcycles, and boats. He is always comped a suite, all meals, and shows.
They continue not to mention his voter registration, for some reason.
Why am I shouting..... You really have to ask that? 59 people are DEAD. Over 500 wounded. Don’t you get it?
You too?
I loved that boat...........
Cherchez le musulman.
We don't know the extent of his plans. Perhaps he planned something that would have required that firepower. Maybe there were accomplices that didn't show up that would have used the additional firearms. Lot's of possibilities.
Don’t know where you are, but here in Nevada, we have had media coverage of Sheriff updates at least 4 times a day. Was 2 hour intervals on Monday.
The national media cannot keep a sheriff & a police department straight. They keep putting up graphics that identify SHERIFF LOMBARDO as a member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Only the Reno media has their graphics straight.
A SHERIFF is the SHERIFF of the WHOLE COUNTY!! That would be Clark County in this case. He draws a County paycheck-—Mot a City of Las Vegas paycheck.
