Do you have any idea how stupid this is?
Then you may have "cognitive privilege"? As the intersectional left continues to kill satire through its very existence, we advance toward the bright future of idiocracy.
Here's the Daily Iowan. The college paper of the University of Iowa. And where better to denounce "cognitive privilege" than a college paper.
There are many kinds of privilege besides white privilege: cognitive privilege, for example. We now know that intelligence is not something we have significant control over but is something we are born with. We are living in a society in which success is increasingly linked to ones intelligence. ... Thus, the accident of having been born smart enough to be able to be successful is a great benefit that you did absolutely nothing to earn. Consequently, you have nothing to be proud of for being smart.
Dan Williams, the author, of this piece, is justly not proud.

Further proof that Idiocracy was a documentary.
The college-educated, smug liberals are going to have to find a middle ground here. Either they are privileged for being smart, or they are not smart. Which is the lesser evil?
Some people are as dumb as dirt, that’s their problem.
That’s why I bought the movie. :)
Heck, they don’t even veil the message that it is really about current events.
Room temperature IQ’s are the new ‘genius’!...............
This could go three directions:
1. Idiocracy
2. Harrison Bergeron
3. Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot.
The libs are beyond satire.
Their attacks on merit in the name of radical equality has moved beyond the absurd.
It was no accident. Our far back ancestors were able to weed out most of the 'stupid genes' fairly quickly, since nature rewards stupidity with death. Unfortunately not all of the 'stupid' genes were removed from the pool...................
Contrived homogeneity does NOT equal actual fairness.
Instead, it equal suppression of thought and repression of ability.
Socialist always make this mistake and take forever to admit the consequence of that error.
I work with grad students.. I am daily stunned at the lack of common sense and absence of basic educational pre requisites.
A great deal was leap-frogged in the primary education and in their HS education
Some though they have tried numerous times, STILL cannot properly fill out a FedEx form... can’t address a letter properly, can’t articulate simple ideas (or comprehend YOURS), etc.
They’re in for a real cold shower when they leave here.
Has there ever been a time when having a good mind & the opportunity to employ it was not an advantage? Is there any more reason to consider having a good mind a "privilege," than having any other aptitude, a "privilege?"
But isn't the real point, that that type of "privilege," is far, far better described as a "Blessing." Calling it a "privilege" rather than a "Blessing," is only a way that egalitarian neurotics can imply that it is undeserved; that it somehow implies a wrong to those not so Blessed."
The way to respond to this nonsense is with contempt for those who have a compulsive need to disparage talent, as they disparage achievement and social continuity, in a neurotic frenzy to disparage the natural order & the accomplishments of better directed individuals.
Space Retards.
I loved that episode.
On the plus side, should things continue as-is, WBill Jr. will be one of the smartest humans of his generation. He'll rule the world.
Apparently, “cognitive privilege” is not an affliction which both the author Dan Williams & the Daily Iowan tolerate &/or suffer from.
Familiar. Cambodia in the 70s. Intellectuals (guys who wore glasses) were stigmatized and driven into the field to farm. Coming to a theater near us? After all, I believe Pol Pot was educated by intellectuals in gay Paree.
