A federal judge in Virginia ruled Friday against blocking President Trumps executive order that called for temporarily stopping the entry of immigrants from six majority-Muslim nations and refugee admittance overall.
Some sensibility at last.
Now send it to the Supreme Court.
My thoughts are the executive order is upheld.
Full speed ahead.
Follow the constitution and a sane ruling is made. Finally.
What about the other judges who say “no”?
A Boston judge had said the same thing weeks ago——yet the President chose to “listen” to the judges that were hampering him———that’s what I don’t understand.
.
“What are your thoughts? “........
What? A judge with a brain?
This report will be deleted from the MSM’s news queue.
I think you will find they have no standing in the long run because they ignored the authority of the President in immigration matters.
There’s a split in authority, Trump doesn’t have to follow ones he disagrees with. He doesn’t have to follow anyone, but now he has an even better excuse.
Well that’s impossible, because all judges should arrive at the same decision on all cases simply by reading the law and then applying it to any given case.
But they don’t... for some strange reason... that I can’t possibly comprehend... because unanswerable judges legislate from the bench... and congress has allowed it, because congress is too cowardly to do a great many things that they would rather hide behind the robes of judges on...
This is HUUUUUUUUGE!!!!!! :)
No........implement it immediately
Let the Marxists take it to the supremes.
Thought #1: About f’ing time that we finally got a judge who can understand the Constitution.
Thought #2: Maybe this guy can replace RBG...that would surely make Leftists’ heads explode.
I thought that there was such a requirement.
Wrong move. Sets a bad precedent, and positions the Judicial branch in a superior position to the other two (supposedly) co-equal branches of government.
We don't need a bunch of black robed tyrants to interpret the clear language of the law and the Constitution for us. Those documents give the President broad powers and latitude over the whole area of immigration, as anyone with an eight grade reading level can see.
If anything, the high court should reach down and strongly discipline the overreaching, activist, lower courts. It's beyond their authority or jurisdiction to elevate themselves to the position of arbiters of the President's clearly enumerated powers.
What are your thoughts?>>>>>>>>>>>>
#1 Woot!
#2 What happened in Londonistan effected many judges, we will see more.
#3 Obama the coward has taken temporary residence on the other side of the world on a p[rivate island near Bora Bora, where he cannot be subpoenaed to appear before the House Committee on intelligence. His so called vacay is strangely without his wookie or issue. Duly noted. Coward! Maybe he will be denied re-entry into the USA when they find out the truth about his birth place, or that he now has a passport from Yemen.
Allahwahoo Whackbar!
‘What about the other judges who say no?’
Ignore them. Why is one judge’s opinion more important than another’s? The stay is upheld until a higher court says otherwise.
Same here.
The President has (and has had) every right to publicly condemn the outrageous overreach of those activist judges, and to assert his legal and constitutional authority to perform his rightful duty to the American people.
Why he did not do that, remains a mystery to me.
