In old politics it would be obvious that the FBI was trying to help Hillary Clinton by releasing the type of devastating report it did on the Friday of this long holiday weekend. In old politics the Democrats could bank on few people seeing it or hearing about it and Hillary would dodge a bullet. In old politics by Tuesday the “Move along folks nothing to see here” mantra would kick in and Democrats could breathe a sigh of relief.
The problem Hillary and the Democrats have is that we are no longer playing the game in old politics. Donald Trump is fashioning new rules for a new type of politics.
In new politics this report has been blasted into Hillary’s carcass with the force of a shotgun spray and she has been left to swing in the wind, wounded and watching her fake poll lead drop by the hour. She has swung all day Friday, all day Saturday, all day Sunday and all day Monday. She has been forced to crawl out of bed, show up and campaign at a Labor Day event even though her official schedule had her resting until the first debate with Donald Trump on September 26th. There’s a good chance that her personal staff neurologist--the guy with the diazepam injector--will be by her side as well, which will lead to more damaging pictures.
There are, of course, two ways to look at this. The FBI is on Hillary’s side or it is not. It is easy to dismiss this drop and believe the FBI helped the media cover this up...

Could be Comey is trying to redeem himself......prolly stinging from all the adverse comments about not prosecuting Hillary.
A favorite term: “malicious obedience”.
As in “sure, we won’t indict you; we’ll just release all the information making it crystal clear we should have.”

With the old media trying to ignore the story, and people having 4 solid days to discuss this on their hands, they turned this over to the alternative media to dissect and define without the Clinton spin merchants to tell us how to think.

I don’t think that figures into the equation. Comey is merely comfortable with the political game and rules as it has been played to date without realizing that the times are a changing.
They released it on Friday before Labor Day because of the politics and minimizing the impact. Hillary has a big problem though. She doesn’t directly respond to these revelations. No press conference and not many public appearances either. Trump would respond in about four minutes and get it out of the way.
Just who is that black guy with the injector? We should know by now. Pic is all over the place. Shouldn’t be too hard to find out. It would be revealing.
Yeah, right. We heard the same type of crap about Justice Roberts. His rulings on Obamacare contained the keys to getting rid of it. He was really trying to help us.
Sometimes, it is what it is. Comey is corrupt and he is helping Hillary by releasing this stuff before a holiday weekend, especially Labor Day weekend, which has so many distractions including the beginning of college football. And Hillary was given ample time to spin a response.
Can someone tell me what is going on with the book in this coughing episode around the one minute mark.
Why is someone handing her a book while she is in the middle of a coughing episode. there is something in between the pages. Was she on a commercial plane and this was a dumb citizen wanting an autograph?

Hillary's wrongdoings at the presser to announce he wasn't charging her.
I thought the same. Internet use can go up when folks have more free time, and the Ministry of Propaganda is otherwise engaged in leisure Martha’s Vineyard activities and unable to respond.
What Comey is probably trying to say that he was taking orders from “higher up” i.o.w “Befehl ist Befehl”.
If Trump wins in November, he can instruct his AG nominee to prosecute Hillary. The decision to prosecute or not is discretionary and double jeopardy does not come into play.

Other threads today are saying it is actually a flashlight. Which it may or may not be.
If Trump wins I expect an Obama pardon of Hillary and Bill for any and all prosecutable offenses, even those not yet discovered. I also expect Obama to pardon himself.
