My pathology came back Monday.

In a nutshell, although I did not specifically ask "what stage?", I think it's a stage I.

Surgeon said the tumor was smaller than they thought. Lymph nodes were clear, and the margins they took out were clear.

Born and raised in far Western Maryland. Lived 15 years in that cesspool known as Washington. Oh, how I wish it was nuked or hit by a zombie virus. LOL Had family in Ballmer and used to do OC and Inner Harbor quite a bit. Miss the place. I get up there once a year. And I'm not 100% enamored with Hogan. Seems to have a bit of a RINO streak in him. Then again, this is Maryland. Probably seems to the right of Attila The Hun to those urban maggots up there.

Where in western MD?

I practically grew up there, my parents still owning a house with Mason-Dixon marker next to my uncle’s farm. His mother’s family is from up there, so we have quite the ties as well as Baltimore.

Yup, that’s it.

Technically my grandmother was from LaVale, but generally her family is from Cumberland.

Happenstance that her son ended up moving there to practice and so we ended up still having strong connections up there. Practically grew up with my cousins as a child up there. Loved it.

Only one of my cousins actually still lives around there, in Frostburg.

I graduated from Frostburg and did my student teaching at Columbia Street Elementary and Mt. Savage. To this day I eat jelly on grilled cheese which, I was told, is a Western Maryland thing. I can also detect a paper mill wafting in the breeze thanks to WestVaCo!
