Fiorina: 'Never say never' to VP spot
The Hill ^ | April 9, 2016 | Jessie Hellmann

Carly Fiorina isn't ruling out sharing a presidential ticket with Ted Cruz as his VP pick.

"I learned in life to never say never about all kinds of things," the former Republican presidential candidate said in an interview on WABC Radio's "Election Central with Rita Cosby." "I didn't think I'd run for president, either, but I did."

Fiorina dropped out of the race after a poor showing in the Iowa caucuses and has since been one of Cruz's strongest surrogates.

She said she's flattered by talk of her being the Texas senator's pick for vice president, but she is focusing on making sure he gets the nomination.

I think it would be a good team.

Not for Carly as President but she’d be a good addition to the ticket.

I would like to see Carly run for the Senate again. He’d at least make the ‘Rats spend big money there.

he doesn't need Carly for that. He needs Carly for the north East or west coast states.

Has Carly won east and west coast states before ? I figured she could help Cruz get over 50% in Texas first. That might be good practice.

My first choice would be Scott Walker. Conservative leader, qualified. Unlike Ryan he would likely deliver WI (we need FL, VA, OH and at least one more state, WI would do).

I could live with Fifi, really I wouldn’t have a problem with her, I don’t think she’s so bad, she doesn’t have a record in office so we can’t really be sure, that’s why I prefer candidates with records in office. She’d probably do great in the debate with Julian Castro or whatever piece of crap Hilly picks for her running mate. The reaction here at FR would be overwhelmingly negative though, I don’t even wanna read the comments in this thread.

Really the main reason to consider her is cause she is a she, Carl Fiornia would not be on the list. I don’t know if that’s a good enough reason. Female VP nominees are 0-2. The “girl power” crowd will be voting Hillary regardless. She would be attacked over her business record, which plenty of conservatives have attacked her over, Hillary could just run ads about what Trump said about her, that may violate “first do no harm”.

I think she’d make a good US Trade Rep or Commerce Sec. or something like that.

I’m not sure. I didn’t mean to misconstrue your comments. I apologize if I did.

Fiorina would be good, and she’s quick on her feet, including the pro-life issue. But I do wish she did not have exceptions to abortion, as it’s still a baby, just as innocent and beautiful as all babies.

Hopefully she’s changed her mind, and is now 100% pro-life, like Ted Cruz.

Cruz received an endorsement from National Right-to-Life because he is 100% pro-life, they said.

When Carly was running for office in CA, pro-aborts said that Carly was just pretending to be for exceptions for political reasons. I hope that’s it.
