Is there really a “dark side” of the Moon, as in permanently dark?
First one with the correct answer wins an all-expense-paid trip to the Moon!

Masterpieces of self-absorption.
The endless anti-Israel and anti-Jewish rants have spoiled my appreciation.
I will never purchase another Pink Floyd product and nor should any Freeper.

Is there really a "dark side" of the Moon, as in permanently dark? No. We only see one surface of the moon no matter the illumination, since it's tidally locked with the Earth, but all sides of the moon see sunlight.

The “dark side” of the moon actually sees more sunlight than the side we see, since it is never subject to falling under the earth’s shadow.

The 'dark side' of the moon actually sees more sunlight than the side we see, since it is never subject to falling under the earth's shadow.True, if "dark side" = 'far side' (the side always pointing away from earth). The earth-facing side of course falls in the Earth's shadow during lunar eclipses, whether partial or total.

Bookmark Bump for more interest in the recordings made by the astronauts than by the anti-semite’s band, which I used to like.

the anti-semite's band, which I used to like.I understand what you're saying. But if we stopped listening to artists based on their off-the-wall political views, it would eliminate an awful lot of great music. Similarly with Hollyweird, past and present. Then I too sometimes just have to turn things off or switch the channel.

Not to pick nits, but if one added reflected sunlight to the totals your statement might not be true.

I hear you. I really did love their music back in the day, but you are right about the band member’s antisemitism.
It’s really too bad, as I love this album and enjoy playing along on my guitar.
But, like you, I won’t be buying any more products from them.
