Thanks for the ping.

This from the POS that has let Food Stamp receipients and the number of people on disability (SSDI) skyrocket in the last six years, increasing dependency on the FedGov (taxayers), while he and his “wife” jet-set around the world and munch on Wagyu beef.

Obama: Well, you’ve got your Republicans who just want the poor to suffer, and then you have your democrats, who see things differently and want to help.

Maybe in the 1950s black families broke up over solely poverty. I don’t think the problem is like that today, mister obama. Poor blacks are not even forming much of a union. It’s easy to avoid poverty if you are able bodied. Just get a job and don’t have unprotected sex until you are married with a GOOD job. Period. But no one is trying that in the poor communities.

Thanks for the ping. Rand is famously someone cited in derision but seldom read, by people who would scoff at secondary sources when it comes to their own ideology. A third-rater such as 0bama can't even get the erroneous citations accurately.

Rand's point was quite clear and she devoted two chapters to it in Atlas Shrugged: one can be a fry cook or a pig farmer or a fisherwoman and not mooch off anyone. For a government bureaucrat, however, it's impossible. When money is a medium of exchange between two honest producers, it's wealth. When it's loot, it isn't.

Imagine if he hadn’t of won the ultimate lottery.... Perhaps he’d now be on SSI sitting on a porch somewhere outside of Hilo with his choom and a 40oz.

“The stereotype is that you’ve got folks on the left who just want to pour more money into social programs, and don’t care anything about culture or parenting or family structures, and that’s one stereotype."

That's not a stereotype, you friggin' commie, that's the reality since LBJ. It's a colossal failure too.

$22 TRILLION of transfer payments in the last 50 years. I’m glad to hear the recipients aren’t sponges. I’m ashamed of myself for even letting that thought flash through my mind.

“People don’t like being poor. It’s time-consuming. It’s stressful. It’s hard. And so over time, families frayed. Men who could not get jobs left. Mothers who are single are not able to read as much to their kids. So all that was happening 40 years ago to African-Americans,” the president said. “And now what we’re seeing is that those same trends have accelerated and they’re spreading to the broader community.”
Yeah, we're seeing that now. You've been in the White House since 2009. Weird coincidence.

So fathers who could not get a job left? Where did they go - not very far actually - down the block to knock up the next 13 year old fatherless black girl. This man is an idiot who calls speaking to motivated black men going to Howard or Morehouse his efforts at talking to the bros. In reality, he never dares go near the feral blacks in the hellhole ghettoes his Democrat party has spawned. What time is he teeing off today?

the same can be said for marriage - when I was a kid in the mid 60’s every family in school had an intact married family...when my kids went to school, our intact family was the significant minority

Anyone who reads Rand Paul realizes he's not a conservative and is only a self-described Republican.
Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.

Missed one...

““I think that there are those on the conservative spectrum who deeply care about the least of these, deeply care about the poor; exhibit that through their churches, through community groups, through philanthropic efforts, BUT are suspicious of what government can do. And then there are those on the left who I think are in the trenches every day and see how important parenting is and how important family structures are, and the connective tissue that holds communities together and recognize that that contributes to poverty when those structures fray, BUT also believe that government and resources can make a difference in creating an environment in which young people can succeed despite great odds.

You are correct of course, Obama is the 'BUT' man. If he had used 'and' in place of 'BUT' it could have made sense in an overly long sentence kind of way.
