IMO, Sharpton would only meet with a non-democrat if he thought he might be a useful idiot. Or if he thought he could squeeze him for money.
Paul doesn’t seem too interested in reaching out to conservative leaning blacks.

How true. My wife laments cause I have no people (outside family) I call friends. I tell her I will not waste my time with people I don’t like nor respect.
No doubt Rand kept passing Sharpton the crackers, in response to Sharpton’s repeated use of the word.
Sharpton was sure happy the breakfast was on our tab in the senate dining room. Reverend Al is a little short these days as we have heard. I doubt if he could afford an Egg McMuffin or an over microwaved sausage biscuit from the local ARCO station food mart.
My point was that just because they spoke doesn’t infer kowtowing. And Sharpton said they don’t agree which means Paul probably wasn’t very accommodating. And, um, I’m a cop in NYC. So Sharpton is pretty far down on my preferred-lunch-guest list.
