The White House Science and Technology Advisor, says an initiative is underway “with the goal of ensuring a climate smart citizenry in the United States.”
“In December of last year the White House Climate Education and Literacy Initiative was launched--with the goal of ensuring a climate smart citizenry in the United States,” Dr. John Holdren says in a White House video released last week.
“Whenever I can I use opportunities like this ‘Ask Dr. H’ initiative to communicate about climate change and the strong scientific underpinnings of our actions to combat it.”
“Based on our scientific understanding of climate change the administration is continuing to develop and implement a number of policies to cut carbon pollution in America, to prepare for the climate impacts that cannot be avoided, and to work with the international community so best practices for emissions reductions and building resilience are embraced everywhere,” Holdren continues.
A December 2014 White House press release announcing the effort says, “In response to an initial call to action made in October, more than 150 activities, projects, and ideas were submitted by individuals and organizations across the country, from more than 30 states. These included a diverse array of innovative approaches being implemented in K-12 classrooms, on college and university campuses, and in zoos, parks, aquariums, and museums to educate and engage students and citizens of all ages. Today’s launch includes a number of exciting new commitments by Federal agencies and outside groups.”
Among the efforts listed by federal agencies include “leveraging digital games to enhance climate education” by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and using the National Park Service (NPS), “the plan will assist NPS interpretive managers and practitioners in the creation and delivery of effective climate-change messages in the programs and exhibits across all National Parks.”
When communism didn’t work, the left turned to environmentalism. After the fall of the Soviet Union, Gorbachev founded Green Cross International, and was involved in the Earth Charter. By hiding behind these type of organizations, and promoting environmental laws, communism were/are able to attack our capitalist economy. Environmental laws also affect private property rights. A capitalist economy and private property rights defines a free nation. It is obvious what the goal of climate change is.
Yes, there are strong scientific underpinnings to the proven FACT that you must sacrifice a chicken at midnight every new moon to prevent global cooling .... uhh ... global warming ... uhhhh ... CLIMATE CHANGE.

The WH must encourage Congress to propose a Goebbels warming amendment to the Constitution to the states. And if the states choose to ratify the amendment then the feds will have the constitutional authority to officially address such issues and the WH will be a hero.

During a Q&A segment at a science & technology speech given by President Obama’s Science Czar, John P. Holdren, Luke Rudkowski asked him about the statements made in his 1977 book, Ecoscience. In this book, Holdren outlined ways to handle “overpopulation” which included forced abortions and sterilization. Despite co-authoring this book and telling Congress that his beliefs in depopulation has changed, Holdren claimed that he never held those beliefs in the first place.
In 1969, this Science genius wrote a book assuring us that, no matter the advances in technology, the US could never be able to feed the 280 million people we would have living here in 2040 (71 years from the time of his publication.).
There were 210 million in the US in 1969. We passed 280 million before 2000 (in 31 years, beating that part of his prediction by 40 years). We have yet to feel one bit of the "misery" that he foretold, while he was assuring us that we needed to allow government in install population controls (not unlike China's One Child policy). THIS is who is telling us that we must be "educated" in the ways that he demands, rather than letting the scientific method do its work.
The muslim brotherhood (f'finstance) is here to stay because whoever gets in .. even Ted Cruz .. will not fire or eliminate them because of PC or even a direct threat.
I can prove that statement/theory by examining law(s) .... How many laws are ever rescinded ?
I recall sometime in the last ten years or so, a thread was posted here about some sort of WW2 payback law had been rescinded because Switzerland (or whoever) had actually paid their debt (or SOMETHING like that)
I think it was in the same thread that there were laws dating back to Washington that are still on the books
