GOP presidential hopeful Ben Carson reportedly slammed lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights advocates at a Jan. 24 press conference following his speech at Congressman Steve King's Iowa Freedom Summit.
Carson, a Fox News commentator and former Johns Hopkins University pediatric neurosurgeon, seemed to hint at a series of disputes that have erupted between same-sex couples hoping to tie the knot and bakeries and other wedding-related venues operated by opponents of same-sex marriage.
"What I have a problem with is when people try to force people to act against their beliefs because they say, 'Theyre discriminating against me," he told reporters, according to The Hill. "So they can go right down the street and buy a cake, but no, lets bring a suit against this person because I want them to make my cake even though they dont believe in it."
He then added, "[That] is really not all that smart because they might put poison in that cake.(continued)

Sometimes, Ben should just shut up!
I’d be more worried about the glaze on the doughnuts.
Of course the detractors on the left who wish to seize this as an issue would never mention Jesse Jackson admitting that he spit in white people’s food when he worked in a restaurant.

If Ben Carson actually said this, he is not ready for the campaign trail, and at the age of about 65, he never will be ready. Ben needs to slow down, way down, and start thinking about the best ways to communicate. If he’s like this now, Ben will be a mess during the debates. Not the right man for this job.

So people who disagree with homosexual marriage on the basis of devote Christian faith are going to poison gay people.
I don’t think so
This Carson is a fruit loop
He is an open and trusting guy, gonna have to harden up.
I’d like to see the entire transcript which might read something more like: Aren’t they so suspicious of Christians already that they fear they’d get poisoned? They just do this to make trouble.
If he said it, he’s not ready for city council, let alone president.
“Id be more worried about the glaze on the doughnuts.”
It’s all protein, baby!
I am seriously doubting that the guy did not benefit from affirmative action. Just does not seem bright.
WELL ... I wouldn’t be buying a food product, made by people who didn’t like me ... :-) ...
Sometimes how you package the message is more important than the message itself, of course without betraying principles. Prudence sometimes dictates silence.
