Mark Sanford wins: Democrat clown “What’s her name” fails miserably
May 8, 2013 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

The numbers are in and former governor (I’ll leave the phrase “disgraced former governor” to the sour grapes Democrat media) Mark Sanford beat comedian Steven Colbert’s sister. Since she lost there is no need to identify her as anything else because that is what she started as and that is what she remains.

Congressman-elect Mark Sanford got 54% and even though Steven Colbert’s sister’s name was on two lines and South Carolina allows aggregate vote counting she got 45%.

One of the lines Steven Colbert’s sister was on was the Working Family Party’s. This is a Communist/George Soros bought and paid for bunch that has been run out of many districts across the country.

There are several factors in Congressman-elect Sanford’s victory worth focusing on.

Sanford won because he is a fiscal conservative which is just what people want. When he was the Governor of South Carolina he was fiscally conservative enough to decline to live in the state mansion and lived at home. His wife bought her clothes off the rack at Walmart.

He won because he tied Steven Colbert’s sister to Nancy Pelosi which is something stupid people like those who run the Republican National Committee should take note of.

He won because the voters in this district are very sophisticated – they were the same people who looked at Tim Scott a Black man and Strom Thurmond’s son in a primary and voted for Scott because he more closely represented their views. The dopes in RNCC might consider this fact as they tremble under their desks the next time they are called racists.

He won because the Democrats have succeeded in making sexual indiscretions a non- issue even for Republicans in the Deep South. This is something else the dummies in RNCC

It's nice to have a Republican in the House that owes Bonehead and Cancer NOTHING.

Personally, it’s good to hear this story. For once, a guy decides to resign and make a comeback in Congress. So much for the idea that being a moral person is pathetic.

I didn’t really follow this race. Was gun-control an issue?

Don Feder said to leave no man behind. Hopefully, Congressman Sanford is an example of Don Feder’s suggested tactic.

Exactly! In the Clinton era we were incessently told that "it's just about sex, no big deal, has nothing to do with character". So, the Dems have now been foisted on their own talking point. How's that working out for ya?

Maybe, just maybe, the people of this district looked at the qualifications of each candidate and decided, for all his philandering, Mark Sanford had better experience and qualifications for this position than the sister of a so-called comedian.

He won every single county in our district. I was very surprised that he won Charleston county. A lot of poor, blacks and college students.

We know what we’re getting with Sanford. There is no bigger tight-a$$ with his own money (one of his bitter ex-wife’s biggest complaints about him in her book and interviews).

You know? I’m glad he’s not “beholdin’” to anyone except those real Americans that got out and elected him ( I am sure as Hell not talking about those ‘Colbert/Obama’ voters who made an ass out of themselves).

Likewise, as a ‘man-of-some-age’, I am not one necessarily to condemn him now because he (my assessment) came to a point in his life that status quo was not viable if he were to live his life to fullest, at least in his assessment.

Unlike many, many Democrats who hired lawyers, appropriated the most timely MSM underling, or some professor (think DKG), or just through their WH Press Secretary, this man (a Republican) came to a decision (my guess one that involved speaking to his new mate and knowing it was a lifelong decision) and stood behind it.

From what little I see, he isn’t some cad like Hillary’s Girlfriend’s Husband (Weiner?), he took the loss of job, the results with his wife, and stood on what he did and what he wants.

I say good.

I would think that the ex-wife has every right to be bitter.

I don’t know that I would grant him the title of “Moral person” just because he resigned after being caught in a lie and an adulterous affair.

And I seriously doubt that’s the best candidate that the Republicans could have put forward. He is still a terrible role model. But he is probably the lesser of the two evils that the voters had to choose from.

Sadly, considering the quality of the people in DC, we have reached the point in this country where a fiscal conservative that has a blow up doll in his bedroom is morally superior to *any* of the DemocRats.

Hopefully he has learned to keep wee willie in his pants.

If he wants to keep his wee willie, he’d better.

Two words, “Lorena Bobbitt”. Those South American women don’t play that.

The funniest part of this election was Rachel Maddow saying Sanford’s voters don’t mind adultery and lying. Did she ever say that about Clinton?

Rachel is a good one to talk on morals.

When it coms to lying she is no slouch.

Maybe,,, maybe not. Maybe she wasn’t such a picnic to be around either. It’s dicey business to look inside someone’s marriage and conclude that one spouse is despicable, and the other is a saint done wrong.

Maybe he had a right to be very unhappy.

An Heiress, from a family of lawyers, and a veep in the investment banking world who married him after her career was up and running. Connected to power lawyers here and there. Funded his campaigns.
Just what a man hopes to find.

She used him as much as he used her.

“But he is probably the lesser of the two evils that the voters had to choose from.”

Exactly. My only worry about him, is that his comeback trail might include some “courageous votes” in favor of gun control, an immigration bill, raising taxes, etc,,

As I understand it, the South has huge black populations, percentage-wise, relative to the rest of the country. The GOP wins there by getting 80-90% of the non-black vote. Charleston County is 65% white. 80% of white vote brings him to 52%.

Can someone explain to me why the blacks who overcame slavery, marched and protested for their rights, continue to vote for the Democrat party? The party that is akin to the Communist Party, who keeps them enslaved in poverty and government handouts? I just don’t get it? Are they so intellectually lazy that they haven’t figured out what and who the Democrats are by now?
