Personally, it’s good to hear this story. For once, a guy decides to resign and make a comeback in Congress. So much for the idea that being a moral person is pathetic.

I don’t know that I would grant him the title of “Moral person” just because he resigned after being caught in a lie and an adulterous affair.

And I seriously doubt that’s the best candidate that the Republicans could have put forward. He is still a terrible role model. But he is probably the lesser of the two evils that the voters had to choose from.

He didn’t resign. Voters in SC begged him to quit and leave.
