Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) stood by her push for an assault-weapons ban when Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace pressed her on whether Boston and Watertown residents may have preferred to arm and protect themselves on Friday while the suspect was at large. “If where you’re going is, do they need an assault weapon? I don’t think so,” she said.

A few days ago my wife and I commented that there were probably a lot of Watertown residents sitting defenseless in their locked houses thinking "if only I owned a gun."

WATERTOWN, MA — On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people’s homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were “ordered” to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.
And this witch is in a heavily protected, guns-loaded, heavily armed environment that you and I are not allowed to work in, nor are we allowed to be protected by armed guards when we go to places.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (TheBlaze/AP) — A Massachusetts police official say the brothers suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon before having shootouts with authorities didn’t have gun permits.
Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas tells The Associated Press in an interview Sunday that neither Tamerlan Tsarnaev (tsahr-NEYE’-ehv) nor his brother Dzhokhar had permission to carry firearms.

Two things that she said yesterday to Mr. King still reverberate in my mind: 1) Immediately she said that the administration performed well (even though no one mentioned any thing about the administration’s performance at that time), and 2) This kind of talk/analysis is not helpful. That tells me all I need to know about this big government liberal. While Americans were focusing on the Boston Marathon bombings and defending the Second Amendment to the Constitution from the Senate’s efforts to eliminate guns, the House was busy about the business of destroying the Fourth Amendment.
After two days of debate this week, the House passed CISPA, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, by a vote of 288-127, with 18 abstaining. The legislation would allow the federal government to engage private sector firms — think Google — in the business of monitoring your emails, postings and user data for nebulous “threat information” which would then be shared “voluntarily” without need for any sort of warrant.

So much for the Constitution. For those paying attention, the Boston bombing has been a textbook example of how powerful and arrogant our government has become. The show of force (military vehicles, armored vehicles, full automatic weapons, riot gear) demonstrates why the 2nd Amendment was written. The 4th Amendment is useless without the 2nd.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Not Most Dangerous Criminal in US – Obama Is
Obama is now waging war against the American citizens, only many of them are too stupid to realize it. In the past four years, Obama has changed the face of American law. He has been systematically removing our God given and constitutional rights. Americans no longer have the right to free speech, to religion, to bear arms without infringement, the right to privacy, nor do the states have any of their 10th Amendment rights over the federal government.
I suppose anybody who asked for a warrant would have been shot, or at least eaten the butt of an assault rifle before being arrested.
Why doesn’t Senator Feinstein lead by example and get rid of her security detail?
