Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) stood by her push for an assault-weapons ban when Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace pressed her on whether Boston and Watertown residents may have preferred to arm and protect themselves on Friday while the suspect was at large. “If where you’re going is, do they need an assault weapon? I don’t think so,” she said.

All laws applied equally across the board. Whatever law, rule or regulation is passed by government for citizens is also observed by all government workers, politicians, and Dc lawyers, no exceptions.

Wouldn’t you prefer a little bitty 5.56mm pellet going through you to a shotgun blast that leaves a grapefruit sized hole?
California is known for its grapefruit, as well as its other fruits and nuts.
I wouldn’t have nearly as much of a problem with the cover in place order if the people were at least able to be armed.
And she undoubtedly wonders why the Congress in general and in particular, Harry Reid’s Senate, are generally viewed with utter contempt.
I was so tempted to buy an AR 15 this past weekend, but I keep hoping the prices will go down, particularly after the failure of the assault weapons ban amendment in the Senate. It is probably a forlorn hope.
Feinstein doesn’t care if they’re all killed.

And this was a firearms instructor who was a great shooter, not some rookie who “never fired a gun before he just finished the academy” shooter who struggles with the qualification shoot.
This is why you carry extra ammo.”
“Personally, I carry two spare mags always. When carrying in free states, I carry two extra mags, almost universally 17-round G17 mags even if I’m carrying my Glock 19.
It’s also another reason to fight politicians who would saddle you with 10-round magazines for some arbitrary reason.
