What is the real purpose of birth control? Why is all of this so important to progressives?

With all that's going on with the Catholic Church and the President right now, this has become a huge hot button topic. But why is this so important to progressives? Rush keeps saying that "abortion is the sacrament of liberalism." What makes this so? Let's ask Margaret Sanger. In her book "Woman and the new race", Sanger explains the purpose of birth control:(Page 229)

Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives. So, in compliance with nature’s working plan, we must permit womanhood its full development before we can expect of it efficient motherhood. If we are to make racial progress, this development of womanhood must precede motherhood in every individual woman. Then and then only can the mother cease to be an incubator and be a mother indeed. Then only can she transmit to her sons and daughters the qualities which make strong individuals and, collectively, a strong race.

Ok, now it makes sense. Birth control is the sacrament of eugenics.

If anybody wants on/off the revolutionary progressivism ping list, send me a message

Progressives do not want to discuss their own history. I want to discuss their history.

I am waiting for the ruling that —like in China—we are only allowed one child.

Back to the question ~ which is why Progressivism requires that everyone focus like a laser on what's going on with their nether regions.

The only logical answer is that to them that is all that counts ~ anything beyond focusing on the nether regions is just so much garbage.

It's a sexual fetish to them.

Not just eugenics, but population control.

Don’t forget, liberals believe humans are the single greatest scourge on the face of the earth and lowering the world’s population by 90%.

Of course, if they have their way, the only people remaining will be supporters of socialism.

It has nothing to do with birth and everything to do with control.

Birth control is ok according to the Christian and Jewish religions. Natural birth control using a woman’s cycle is approved by the Catholics and the Jews can use the pill (no barrier methods). (Jews can use the natural kind too, but there is a tradition of desiring intimacy right around ovulation — it’s not a mandate though.)

I don’t think most “garden variety” liberals look at abortion as a form of eugenics. They don’t have a “cause” other than to destroy anything that is good about America. They are out to destroy our Constitutional form of government and destroy all Judeo-Christian morality.

It is one side of their political ping pong table. The other side is economics.

They destroy the economy and when their opponents are in power, blame it on Republicans, conservatives, capitalism, and the free market, and they keep hitting the ball to that side to draw everyone’s attention over there. Meanwhile, they pass a bunch of socially leftist legislation quietly.

When they are in power, they ignore the economy they destroy and hit the ball to the “social issues” side of the table. They want to divert focus from the unconstitutionality of government-run healthcare and they do so by erect the straw-man argument of whether or not abortion should be funded through it. This is to rally the social leftists and make blind to the elephant in the room: because they have destroyed the economy, there is no money to fund socialist medicine at all, let alone the abortion/birth-control component of it.

And it is a straw-man because I reject the premise of the argument that we need to decide (’as a nation’) whether government-run healthcare should cover abortion/birth control because government-run healthcare is unconstitutional and THAT is what needs to be destroyed.

And neither Romney nor Gingrich will destroy it, because they are both big-government types like George W. Bush, who passed the pills-for-seniors bill which helped pave the way for government-controlled healthcare.

There are more people in the world than there is work for them to perform. Progressives see humans as Labor Units to be deployed in various industries to maintain an efficient collectivist economy. If you have more people than work, you need to cull the herd because the non-productive consumer of resources is the worst thing in the world to the Progressive. Birth control is the most humane means of accomplishing this culling. Take away birth control and they give you starvation, wars, purges, along with forced abortions and euthanizations.

Remember that there is no God to these people. Humans = Dogs = Pigs. And don’t fool yourself and think that I’m only talking about traditional liberals here. There are many ultra-wealthy industrialists who believe in this future for the masses too. They hide it in the Green Agenda and the Gay Agenda.

At our current stage of conversion to a communist economy, the Progressives need lots of useless eaters to break the system (i.e. Cloward-Piven). But, the endgame on C-P is almost here and once the system is crushed and the New Communism (in whatever form it takes) rises from the ashes, the Progressives will be very insistent that birth control become the favored means of population control and reduction.
