I have read through the Bible many times and have never found a verse such as you quote. I also just checked 15 translations and it is not in any of them.
I question the source.

You look at Nancy Pelosi and she's a regular old sow ~ her babies are all over the place, and her kids' babies too ~ these people rut like animals.

Undoubtedly that's part of her motive ~ more for her own, and less of the rest of us.

How about providing free castration to those dudes who are getting these stupid girls in trouble?

OK but the female get's spayed right after the birth. That's OK right?

the purpose of birth control:

Secular humanist and Marxist libtards seek to create a relativistic ethics based on science. Advances in science make possible safer and more reliable methods of birth control and abortion. These make possible an ethics with a reduced or nonexistent importance of the distinction between what is sexually moral or immoral and what is genitally faithful or unfaithful.

Among modern progressives, birth control is the most important piece of their war on the nuclear family. It enables people to satisfy sexual urges outside of marriage and removes a lot of the motivation to marry.

They want government to take the place of the traditional family.

Yep it’s Eugenics....

That’s why you hear many of them saying only dumb people are having babies and the smart ones are not. It’s astounding!

At any rate here is a link for anyone interested in what this is about.

There are quite a few associated reasons why leftists love birth control - they get to play "God" (one of their main functions in life), they get to prevent the births of humans - they always think there are too many humans ("Other" humnans, not they and their friends of course) - and some birth control methods are abortifacients, so they get to kill human beings, another favorite pastime, they get to thumb their nose at Mother Nature (who works under the direction of God, a two-fer). There are so many reasons.

Denial of consequences. Leftists want to do whatever they want, and tell everyone else what to do, all without consequences. Utter and total selfishness, supported by ensuring everyone else can do the same. They don’t like reality, and think they can declare it to be otherwise.

Uh, no. Being in control of your own life. Until conception, there is no life of another to control.

Or will you extend that logic to "Not tonight, I have a headache"?

My wife and I pratice birth control using condoms, and she has a birth control implant.
We have two kids already, and don’t want any more. But we like being intimate, because it helps with the marriage. Nothing wrong with that. I’m not in favor of forcing someone else to pay for it, but I wouldn’t want to deny safe, reliable birth control to anyone. The rythym method doesn’t work.

The point isn't dictating to people how many kids to have or making birth control illegal. That is the straw man used by the left to argue for public funding of even the tiniest details of their ideology.

And that is the problem -- for the left it isn't enough for you and your wife to have access to birth control. They want your teenager to have it free of charge as well as an abortion if it fails (and it does, especially among young, undisciplined people.) Their ultimate goal is to do away with marriage and the family as the basic building block of civilization because they can't control it. With the family out of the way child care devolves to the government and they have full control of education.

One of the primary motivators for young people to marry is sexual fulfillment in a stable environment for raising the inevitable children. If you can make sex purely recreational and remove any fear of unwed pregnancy, then people are far less likely to marry and form a nuclear family.

Birth control is ok according to the Christian ... religions.

Nonsense!

ALL of Christianity, Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox in unison, has constantly and universally condemned contraception until just 80 years ago. Yet some would have us believe the last 80 years are correct and the prior 1,930 years of unanimous Christian teaching on the subject was wrong. Its far more likely that, living in an age of apostasy, the last 80 years of caving in on contraception is simply part of that great falling away

Did you even read what I wrote? I said that natural birth control is ok for the Christian religion. What used to be calked the rhythm method.

Sorry, but your post was not very clear. It sounded like you were stating artificial birth control was OK for "Christians," while natural birth control (i,e., NFP) was OK for Catholics.

I’m sorry, doc. If I were a truly responsible poster I’d not post for another year or so. I am always holding a baby and often typing with one or two fingers, trying to keep her feet from kicking my touchscreen and sending it “away,” etc — my posts are a shameful mix of mobile device errors and pathetic attempts t say what I mean! :). No birth control here!!

What I meant was that I know that for Catholics (and some other Christians) just from common knowledge or personal friendships, it is ok by the church to temporarily (for good reasons like health, finances, timing, plenty of kids) attempt to not become pregnant by timing the intercourse. I didn’t know if Christians knew that for Jews (religious Jews) this doesn’t work. So actually the hormonal birth control works better for us, though we are also discouraged from any birth control unless there is a good reason, as listed above.

I think that both religions are trying to fulfill the Bible’s commandments but have interpreted them slightly differently — which is fine to me. And by the way, Jews can successfully use the natural method without going against the Torah because the habit of mid-cycle intercourse is a custom and not a commandment. And since the years that one might use that method are not many, and punctuated by pregnancy and nursing years, it isn’t so horrible to change things up with that custom, there are ways around it.
