Please pray for my 2 year old niece Gefen who just had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor of the kidney. She will now have chemo therapy for 4-6 months.

Prayers for this little one. I hope she has a good middle name, becuase the first name doesn’t make any sense to me.

Lord, look upon Gefen with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon her, may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

Gefen comes from Hebrew origin meaning vine or grape vine. Perhaps this isn’t the time to be commenting on her name.
Praying that this all will be a bad memory in a long and happy life.
