It has been almost three years since I, along with many others, was introduced to Governor Sarah Palin. In that time we have been saturated with coverage of her and just about everybody on the left and the right, has had the opportunity to get to know who she is and what they think of her.
At least that's what I thought.

Better late than never, Mr. Howe.
She is an epic personality, a truth warrior, a servant who loves her country and her God, and who is fearless. She is an outsider to DC and she will fix DC, kicking and screaming. That is why there is so much venom towards her.
She is the only one who can take on Obama, the Dems, the Left and the RINOs.
Oh, wait, she already has—a couple of times.
Now, we need her to do it from the Oval Office.
“On Sarah Palin, I was so incredibly hoodwinked that the one word that my wife and I agreed described how we felt after watching it, was shame.”
Yes, you and all like you should feel SHAME!!! Thanks to this film, I’m glad you FINALLY came to see the truth. But yeah, you ought to be ashamed!
In the end God will vindicate the righteous and lies and liars will be exposed.
The reason it's not as dire as you seem to think is because, while the gulf between those who admire her and those who despise her is as deep and wide as any I have seen in my lifetime, the percentage who hate her as grotesquely as they do, is a tiny, politically insignificant 15-18% of the electorate.
Relax. Palin is lifted up to this by God Himself. What He wants done will not be altered by anyone.

My point exactly.
This kind of sudden epiphany is always suspect.
The guy writes for “Red State” but he allowed himself to be deluded ALL this time by the juvenile and fact-vacuous Leftist propaganda surrounding Sarah Palin?
Shame is right.
“You are entitled to your opinion (which is all you’re expressing here with nothing to support it), but no moreso than am I entitled to my own.”
####
And the “support” for your opinion of “while the gulf between those who admire her and those who despise her is as deep and wide as any I have seen in my lifetime”, is what exactly?
More on point, the claim, in this piece, that Sarah Palin’s supporters indulge in some kind of unthinking, unconditional love for her is much more damaging than the opinion posited regarding the legions of those that allegedly hate her.
It cheapens and trivilizes the support she has from what I consider a very thoughtful, well read and informed conservative base.
Now how exactly would you propose that I “support” that opinion?
You were a PDS’er who has converted to the path of wisdom thanks to this movie. You deserve praise.
????????????????????????????????
Are you at liberty to share?
I think a lot of people dismiss Palin because the media planted the seed that she’s the sort of woman other women always tend dismiss. It’s like some women picked that up without thinking about it, and then told hubby that she’s an airhead, and they never even consider that they picked the idea up on a subliminal level from the media, not from something Palin said or did.
Your conversion must be considered as a modern miracle, IMHO.
That's the plan, Stan. The film is going to do knock out box office in this limited engagement, and AMC theaters will begin running it in lots more venues. It's going to snowball, and wind up playing all over the country.
A $100 donation to SarahPAC will get you your own DVD of the movie right now, if you're willing to spring for it.
My theory is that she is simply one of us, on stage, an anachronism from the past, touching a long-dormant chord that still resonates. Yeah, that’s about right.
There you go again, pitching the 'free stuff' viewpoint.
I've got a wife and four kids, and we're barely holding on, but I'm not demanding that Steve Bannon show me his movie for free. I'll be putting my own hard earned (and scarce) dollars down at the box office on Saturday.
You sure seem to have a liberal's view of such things. This is the second time I've seen you say that on the forum.
The closest showing is Orange County, 350 miles away. Ive voted twice on the website for my area code and hope to heaven it comes this way because I really want to see this documentary.
It's going to be in wider release soon though, yes? I can hardly wait for it to come to the SF Bay Area.
This review is from a strongly left-wing-flavored site. I don't know if the comments are indicative of the mindset of my general neighborhood. Most of them are automatically negative (and full of praise for BO) but some express great skepticism about the path down which our country is currently headed.
The same can be said for all of those Freepers who man the PDS brigade, ridiculing and tearing down Palin with wild abandon.
They've allowed their minds to be poisoned against this bright, decent, and fearless patriot, and haven't the moral grounding or intellect to honestly inform themselves of who she really is, and what she's accomplished.
Shame, indeed.
Amen.
It would never have happened to the degree it did of not the right wing media piled on with the left to bring down Palin. I blame Mitt and his supporters they leaked and futhered the eft wing hit on Palin starting days before the NOv 2008 elections. foxnews was happy and still is to this day to further the narrative the left wing created.
Yes... after reading I had the same reaction WOW!!! Nice to see someone who sees the light instead of the darkness the media pushes regarding Mrs. Palin.
He’s referring to the Iowa Straw Poll on August 13, 30 days after the release of Undefeated.
Bannon: Its worse than snubbed. I think thats why theres a lot of seething discontent below the surface in the Republican party and the conservative movement. I tried to pull the camera back, [and] put Governor Palin and her career in some sort of perspective. I chose [Mark] Levin, Breitbart, and [Tammy] Bruce for a specific reason.
.Theres a big disconnect. There are certain of us in the conservative movement, in the tea party movement, that think the tea party movement is in direct lineage with Governor Reagans and President Reagans revolution. The Bush Republican establishment think [the tea party movement] stems directly from [1992 third-party presidential candidate] Ross Perot. And thats why theyre so distrustful of it. The Perot fiasco is why Bush 41 went back to Kennebunkport four years early.
They see it not as a good thing, but as a thing that has to be controlled, a thing to be feared .
Its very important, before we can take on President Obama, who I think has a very well-defined, progressive, liberal philosophy I dont think theres a coherent, counter-philosophy on our side of the football. I think the Republican establishment, as theyve proven in 2002 and 2008, is just a slow walk to the same statism. And I think thats what the tea party revolt is all about. We need a primary like we had in 1976. We need a fight for the heart and soul of the conservative movement.
