A new investigation of Obama’s birth announcements appearing in Hawaii’s two primary newspapers in August, 1961 shows, conclusively, they were the result of a registration record taken by the municipal health authority, not a medically verified “Live" birth documented as occurring at a Hawaiian hospital, per an officially defined "vital event" by the U.S. Department of Health, National Vital Statistics Division protocols.

It has been reported that it was his grandmother who had the notification of her grandson's birth published in her home newspaper - much as many people do everywhere.

I did the same with my grandchildren - even though they were not born in my town or my state.

The newspapers will publish the announcements for local RELATIVES of said child's birth or indeed, of a relatives death. They do not verify any data with authorities.

When my father died in Michigan, I had his death announcement printed in my - at the time - hometown paper in Massachusetts.

It's simply a service of newspapers for local people to announce births, marriages and deaths of their family members, regardless of the place of such events.

so ‘bummer has a ‘certification of live birth’ certifying nothing more that the fact that he was born. It doesn't verify where.

I think we can all agree he was probably born, although one could wonder it were the result of an incubus coupling.

All Birthers need to understand that everyone in government office, including the USSC is totally corrupt. They all understand what has happened and know what will happen if this ever is proven.

Back in 40s ,50s, and 60s, family members like grandparents placed notices about their family events like births, deaths, and weddings so local friends were notified of goings on of their kids ( like their daughter).

Exactly, that is why he raced to pull the plug on her in Hawaii and then destroy all her personal belongings in Oct 2008 ! Think about it , his wife will visit Vail, NYC, Bar harbor etc.. on the drop of dime but did not visit or attend her husband’s grandmother service's because he had no services !!!!

Obama’s Birth Announcements Fail To Indicate “Natural Born” Status

Noble energy spent pursuing an irrelevent premise. A brith announcement could not, under any circumstances, indicate “Natural Born” status. At best, a foreign birth announcement could confirm Obama’s lack of natural born Citizenship, which, for any who will read any of ten or so supreme court cases, or 14th Amendment John Bingham’s testimony to the House in 1866, or the 2008 Senate Res 511 Hearings, which all specify that a natural born Citizen must have two citizen parents. Because most seem incapable of reading beyond the tabloids, the birth certificate, which will never appear, is clearly intended to occupy the media until the 2012 elections. Sadly, we appear not to have an electorate with the literacy to read our determinative documents. If we can't read our Constitution, how can we expect it to protect our freedoms?

At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens
