The population of Hawaii in the 1960 census was only 632,772, and thus 68,900 would be 11% of the population. I believe that percentage is probably higher than virtually any other state at the time, and certainly was higher than most.

So what's your point?

If your grandson is born in Canada and you think he might need welfare or any other US benefit, and you can register him in Hawaii as an American, why not.

That would be an incredibly stupid thing to do when your grandson has a US citizen mother. Why risk jail by committing fraud, when you could very easily obtain naturalized citizenship for your grandson?

instead of relying on document magic to dissolve him.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This isn't about getting rid of Obama. If he is a natural born citizen it is his constitutional right to be president and Commander in Chief. If he isn't he is a usurper and must be removed.

The issue here is the **Constitution** and the **rule of law**! They must be defended at all times regardless of who is or is not president. They are to be defended regardless of the success of outcome of the effort.

He isn't.

So when does the removal begin?

Waiting....

Maybe let's vote him out instead, that's been shown to work.

Unlike magic document waving.

If your Grandson has a Kenyan daddy, it would be a very smart thing to do.

Who accused Madeline and Stanley Dunham of being smart? Or stupid?

You don’t know a damn thing about Hawaii. EVERYONE who lives there longer than a year knows how to work the system because not only does everyone know it, he government clerks will happily tell you how to do it. Hawaiians hate their dependance on the mainland, and if they can use the system to get personal gain out of it, or help one of their neighbors to, they will. They figure hey, get some brah. But you have zero ability to understand let alone recognize the differences. You think living in Hawaii is just like living in Tennessee. Or Kansas. It isn’t. Not even close.

One day history is going to record these events and include more information than we have now. I will remember you then... As tilting at windmills accusing overs of believing fairy tails, all while spinning your own redicilus myths out of thread spun by obama.

I have to wonder if you will feel used then. I am betting so. There are few things worse for some people than to have to admit they were wrong. You strike me as just that type.

Why? His father's foreign citizenship had no bearing on his eligibility for naturalized citizenship. The mere fact that his mother was a US citizen was enough.

The immigration laws in effect at the time were the same in Hawaii as everywhere else, and they allowed for a perfectly legal and simple way to get Barry Jr. US citizenship, even if he was born abroad.

Now why would granny Dunham "work the system" and risk jail for something she could have obtained legally? That she was in Hawaii is of absolutely no relevance.

One day history is going to record these events and include more information than we have now. I will remember you then... As tilting at windmills accusing overs of believing fairy tails,

Tilting at windmills! LOL! Talk about projection. I'm not the one filing dozens of lawsuits only to get them dismissed one right after the other. I'm not the one hoping against hope that I can get a sitting president removed from power based on some absurd conspiracy theory, only to be dismissed as a kook by the very people who have the power to remove the president.

How many failed lawsuits and failed attempts to persuade the Congressional leadership will it take for you to realize that birtherism is fruitless? I doubt you ever will. No evidence will ever come out to support your theories, but that won't dissuade you. Like a true believer, you will carry birtherism to your grave, no matter what.

The tough part of it is feeling totally helpless for the first time in my life and having no course of action but to seek small jobs to service the debt on our properties while we watch (almost) helplessly as our country flounders in much the same condition as we are in personally.

The two things that weigh on me most heavily are my grandsons (5 and 2) whom I haven't been able to visit in two years and the fact that they were born in this time and may witness the virtual end of the greatest nation the world has known.

I hate to think where all of this may be going, but one way or another we will soon be among fellow patriots in a region other than the Pacific North West where most of the population longs for the U.N. to chart their future.

I know the feeling, man. I think there could be three things that could save us. One, God himself working through principled people. Two, everything collapses and we rebuild things the way things should be, either taking part of the U.S. and breaking away or rebuilding the whole country, piece by piece, like in the post-nuclear war book series by William Johnstone, "Out of the Ashes." "Ashes...." is where a general, General Ben Raines, rises up and cleans out the United States (after a nuclear war with the USSR, it was written in the 1980's) of thugs, city by city, street by street. That leads me to a third, I admit this is a dangerous dice role, but see my tagline below, maybe we need an American version of a General Pinochet. This third option will need someone who needs to take an iron hand on some things with the ideal of restoring the Republic to it's Constitutional roots after a period of cleanup, maybe there would be like a council of like minded folks behind this leader to temper him/her and monitor things. Things are going down the crapper so bad that this is starting to look good at times.

I would MUCH RATHER have him tossed out of office, jailed for treason along with pelosi and reid, and everything he signed voided including Kagan and the ‘wise latina’ than have to listen another 2 years of his GO#$~!%M election rhetoric and lose (but everything still stands)

Well, here is one pic I modified that will at least give you and others some inner satisfaction to your wishes. I tried to find a good pic of a 1965 Ford Galaxie police car, I loved the stacked headlights of that model, but a 1963 model had to do. Still, wishful thinking, enjoy.

It is Morning in America

I believe that was the tact the left took in trying to give Obama omnipotent power.
