Sean is on my side, bless his heart. But I just can't stand listening to him. Judging from his ratings, there are lots of people in this country who would disagree with me, and that's okay.
But in my mind, he's very shallow in his analysis of the day's events.
I need more than what he provides.
I'm a fan of Glenn Beck.
I know that there are lots of my fellow Freepers who dislike Glenn, and the programming that he presents, for whatever reason.
That's okay, too.
My purpose in making this post is to ask you for alternatives.
If you don't listen to Hannity, is there someone else you prefer?
If you can't stand Beck, who do you listen to?
What other hosts do you think might be worthy of our attention?
Yea so much for his phony crack research staff.......
He used to be on WABC in NY on the weekends, and in the Albany, NY market during the week. Do you know if he is still on the terrestrial stations?
Sean’s got better hair than his competitors. That’s all that matters.
Beck is a master at putting the puzzle pieces together.
He’s a true patriot, as is Rush. The rest seem like just
entertainers to me.
Gibson can be downright hilarious. In a good way, of course.
Ever since Lee Rodgers left the airwaves there is no reason to listen to pundits/commentators anymore. They all pale in comparison.
And whatever happened to Ken Hamblin? He was good, always a gentleman.
Mike Church, who is hilarious, (Also a hard core Libertarian and Paul fanatic) Rusty Humphries, Mark Levin, and Herman Cain. All excellent entertainment and listening enjoyment. (Probably not on when Hannity is though.)
But each of these blow Hannity completely away in entertainment value and have the ability to keep their audience awake.
Beck is a sworn enemy of conservatism, he trashed John McCain's conservative opponent, he backs huge new taxes, is obviously disturbed, etc..
Rush is the only one that is good out there. He never gets weepy and emotional like a certain unnamed one and he just tells it like it is. I just think the wannabees don’t have what Rush does and never will.
Nope. Sirius/XM only. His show is the only reason I still have sat radio, and worth every penny.
You might find more info at his website. wilkowmajority.com
I like Beck and Levin, and I like J.C. Watts and Alan Keyes when I can find them.
Hannity is a partisan hack, he is no better than Maddow, just on a different team. I don’t need to listen to GOP cheerleaders, I want to listen to the TRUTH.
.the depth just isnt there on his show
Problem is he is not educated. I am sorry but if you are going to have a show and not have it be an entertainment show you have to have an education and he does not have one at all. I do believe he graduated from High School though. College is bad for FREEPERS but it really isn’t. It gets bashed around here but people with an education have depth and can talk beyond just little quips and dramatics.
Hannity appeals to the young and new Conservaties. After awhile as your knowledge grows you move to people like Buckley, Adam Smith, the Founders, Classical liberal literature, reading USSC rulings, The Federlist papers etc.
I do listen to Wilkow, but he reminds me of Hannity on steroids. Or speed or something.........
What do you thing of Mike Church? He is rib cracking funny sometimes. Even if he is a Paul fanatic.
Then get yerself a radio that has multiple channels.........they do make them you know.
I'm thinking of starting a vanity post myself titled "I can't stand to read vanity posts of people who cant stand to listen to ..(whomever)..and are too stupid to either change the channel or turn it off".
Let me guess, you're home alone and just want somebody to correspond with...thus this thread.
I like him. Sometimes. I an like to listen to Rush, a lot, and Glenn when I can get the station to come in clearly. I also and especially like to hear Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Monica Crowley, Bill Cunningham on Sun. eves, and an Indiana resident-Greg Garrison.
Even if the truth of the BC were known, there is no one courageous enough to bring it out in the open. We rather ignore the Constitution than risk a rebellion by the minorities who voted for him.
But you do.
Yeah, I guess that is why that Limbaugh fellow never made it big... no college education. /s
