Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan says state police must release the name of everyone in the state who is authorized to own a gun.

“What is her home address? Where is her office? What phone numbers does she use? What are the names of her family members? What is the schedule of her security officers?

The principle of “wikileaks” works both ways.
It should. Post her info.
Better yet sell the non gun owner list for $100. Illionis is in the red the state needs the money.
Criminals can get their fee back 10X over from the first house they rob.
After that it is all profit with the soft targets on the list.
This should be the number one reason for all citizens of our country to carry without restriction by government.
Give them an inch and here comes a mile of perversion.
How about a list of non-citizens, car owners, home owners, those who buy alcohol and tobacco products, Walmart shoppers. Truthers, Birthers and those with impure thoughts. (like the Catholic kind)
How about lists of political persuasion?
How about a list of government workers by title and department?
Those who are prescribed anything for mental health.
Those who had state paid abortions?
It’s a public tar and feather campaign.
The craving for control by government seems endless.
Defund them.

In any gun fight, there are two battles. The first is the gun fight itself. It appears that you are prepared to win that one. If you have that sign posted, you are woefully unprepared to win the second battle, which will take place in a courtroom, and/or in the news media.
Imagine yourself sitting next to your defense attorney--to whom you have forked over your entire life savings, as well as the money your got for taking out a second mortgage on your house--as the prosecutor shows pictures of that sign to the jury and tells them how you murdered "that poor sixteen-year-old boy in cold blood"--never mind that he was six feet tall, 240 pounds, already had two kids by two different mothers, and was threatening you with a knife.
And if your attorney is good enough and does manage to get you off, you will then have to face a civil suit by the "boy's" family. By now your funds will have been exhausted, and your new attorney will want a retainer, so your parents will have to take out a mortgage on their house.
You've done the necessary preparation to win the first battle. Prepare to win the second one also. Start by taking down that sign! Then read up on what to do after the gun fight, too.

Quinn has yet to fill the open position of IL State Police Director. Most likely he will pick an anti-gun Democrat police officer.
State Senate OKs one appointment, ignores another

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Senate on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of the former director of the Illinois State Police as head of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
But the controversial nomination of a former state representative to serve on the prisoner review board remained stuck in a Senate committee.
Jonathon Monken, who after nearly two years in the job was never approved as head of the state police, had his nomination as chief of the emergency management agency OK’d by the Senate, 52-1.
There had been stiff opposition to Gov. Pat Quinn’s nomination of Monken to head the state police because the West Point graduate and Army veteran had no police experience
