Why would anyone like Sarah Palin?
The Auburn Journal ^ | February 21, 2011

Posted on 02/21/2011 9:12:54 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

I am beginning to question myself as to why I ever liked Sarah Palin. Why would I like someone that has faith in religion? Why on earth, would I like someone that has faith in her country for crying out loud? Why would I have faith in someone with values?

Granted, there are those people out there such as Lady Gaga and Madonna to look up to, but Sarah? She didn’t enjoy being governor of Alaska, they say-thank goodness she stepped down! She didn’t want being under the microscope of the press to interfere with her job as governor! Such gall to step down after that!

She wants jobs for Americans IN America? How dare she!! She wants factories here on OUR precious soil, to create manufacturing jobs?? Not In My Back Yard she’s not! Not only that, but she actually smiles for the camera’s that hound her relentlessly! No frowny looks for the media to have a field day with! How dare she smile! How dare she make a buck off of the liberals that cannot get enough of her! She actually makes my eyes glaze over when she goes on and on about how much untouched oil America has too! Good thing we don’t have our own oil supply so the gas can climb to the sky, with all the Mid-East turmoil!

Wow, and guns-she does love those gun rights of Americans. I bet she even uses her second amendment rights and owns more than one gun, gosh darn it! And she kills animals and EATS them too! And so does her family! No going to the store for packaged meat for HER family. She actually practices what she preaches! She should take a lesson from Michelle Obama. Tell the country to eat correctly and then head to Vale, Colorado for a ski vacation on our country’s dime. And while she is there, have servings of ribs at 1500 calories per serving with 120 grams of fat. I am starting to think what a fool I have been for being so dang blind! Sheesh!!

And there you go again. You truly lack any sense of civility when your arguments don’t win over, do you?

The truth is, God said: “thou shall not murder.”

The truth is, the founders of this republic said that the purpose of our constitution, the ultimate purpose, is to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to Posterity.”

In two provisions of that document, there is an explicit ban on the killing of the innocent, and an imperative demand that the states ALL provide for the equal protection of the laws to ALL persons.

Why is that so hard for you to accept?

You once again do not read what is said by me. You once again attribute things that are NOT true. You try to run from the obvious by associating me and others as pro-abort, pro-murder... I think God also had something in there about bearing false witness against thy neighbor??? Once again you lie and obfuscate.

I’m being much more civil than almost everyone who has argued with me here this evening.

If my blunt descriptions offend you, sorry. We’re discussing the matters that will determine whether or not our republic survives. There’s no room for the mincing of words. Another four or five thousand will die tomorrow. And the country will draw one day closer to the inevitable destruction that must come for any people who commit abominations against God on a historic scale and then refuse to turn back from them.

Can states alienate the God-given right to life?

Does each officer of government, including those who serve at the state level, have a sworn duty to protect the life of every innocent person in their jurisdiction?

You are hardly civil.

Perhaps you think you are, but then again you think all here are under judgment by you. Sorry but judgment belongs to my Maker not you.

Sadly for you, the Republic will not fare well with your tactics. You alienate those who would stand side by side with you, but for your obstinate "my way or the highway" attitude. Those who tell you outright that they are in support of life, must surpass your muster as to whether they are allowed to (this in and of itself is really astonishing)! You are reduced to being an ideologue... most of whom never accomplish anything. Good luck with that.

I thought February was “Don’t write about Sarah Palin” month. According to the calender, there are still seven days left (counting today)in February.

Product of public education that can’t count.

She quit an oath of office? That's a lie.

She took an oath to "faithfully execute her duties as Governor..."

When the frivolous lawsuits came in such a flurry that she was unable to both defend herself against them and conduct the State's business, she stepped aside to allow her Lieutenant Governor assume the reins and continue the State's business unencumbered by criminally insincere courtroom shennanigans.

Though the Craven Left, the lying Misledia Whores, and you, would try to paint this as some sort of evil, it was actually the most selfless, humble, and magnificent gesture any politicain has made in our lifetime.

As Jesus Himself said, "No greater love hath any man but that he would lay down his life for another."

Sarah forfeited her own political life as Governor for the good of the people of the State of Alaska. It might have been the end of her political carreer, but she was that selfless and had that much integrity that her own moral character demanded that she sacrifice herself for the good of her State.

That you would now besmirch and libel and ridicule that most generous and selfless act on her part says far more about you that you might wish. That in parroting this lie you align yourself with the Left and the Media Whores is equally telling.

Nice job. Well done. You enjoy looking at yourself in the mirror every day, scumbag. Be real proud.

"She's pro-choice for states..."

She believes that the States should decide their own abortion laws (not the Feds), and personally believes that that abortion is wrong. You lying puddle of snot.

So is it women you have your trouble with, or just Sarah?

So did Dole. Seems I don’t remember that being an issue in 1996.

Sparky obviously didn't learn his lesson on the last thread about deliberate errors of omission. Even Jim mocked him by adding an important fact to the title of his post.

The American people don’t like quitters and that was the choice she made and it does have consequences.

When has she quit?
