On youtube I was repudiating a video by Rachel Maddow where she calls Americans stupid because there still resides in this once free land a small but growing majority of people who embrace Judeo Christian values and do not believe environmentalist propaganda. Well, I got into sort of a debate with one of the liberal God haters there. He claimed that religion was BS and that America was not supposed to be Christian that the founders were atheists. (funny, 10 years ago they called them bible thumping rich white folks now they are socialists and god hating hippies.)

I’ve always considered the all caps flourish the point at which someone is unwittingly conceding they are no longer a rational contributor to anything.

Some of these kids are brainwashed by Public schools. point them to the right direction in a rational calm manner, give them charts, graphs, links ETC and they are on their way to Changing from socialists to conservatives. It might not happen right away but all you need to do is plant that seed and a few years from now they will become conservative and realize the folly of their ways.
Of course then there are those like this turd I mentioned who I got into the debate with. I made a few comments refuting what he said he comes back and freaks out and goes Nafiza Ziyad on me. This guy and others like him are beyond hope.

The first thing that I ask idiots like this is if they’ve ever read and UNDERSTOOD the Bible or are they parroting someone elses opinion. More often than not, I have found that they have never read it nor understood it.

And more than likely, neither has the person the idiot is parroting read or understood it either. Case in point: fanatical atheist evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. He is abysmally ignorant when it comes to theology and religion. With people who are knowledgeable about these subjects, he comes across as a complete fool, a braying ass. But the likewise abysmally ignorant are somehow impressed by his fulminations....
After all, he is a "scientist," so what he says can be trusted — on any subject whatsoever it seems, even those entirely outside his sphere of competence.
All I can say s these folks are missing out on the richness and meaning and love and miracles that are the tapestry of life.
Ever notice how these types are real big on condemning and castigating Christianity, but are strangely silent when it comes to badmouthing Islam. If he really wants to impress me with his “sincerity”, stand out in front of the local mosque and make the exact same comments regarding the Muslim faith.
Just like PETA, real big on spraying paint on a little old lady’s fur coat, but reluctant to do the same to a biker’s leathers...
