My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate from the FBIs 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israels. And lets face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I dont know what the term is in Austrian for that
Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didnt have enough time to do one for Joe Biden). YouTube links are provided just in case you doubt the accuracy of these all too human slips-of-the-tongue. If you cant remember hearing about them, thats because for the most part the media didnt consider them newsworthy. I have no complaint about that. Everybody makes the occasional verbal gaffe even news anchors.
Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldnt resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.
If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Becks radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of Dancing with the Stars to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)
Hope springs eternal as the poet says. Lets hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding Americas free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

.
Haha! Very nice!
no one can ever go broke over-estimating the vicious dishonesty and depravity of the media
I don’t really care how empty headed, vapid or void of anything but bumper sticker slogans she is. She’s hot and that’s all that matters. “PALIN 2012 - SHE’S BETTER THAN NOTHIN’
“The new media gave us McCain”
Thanks for demonstrating your ignorance. You have no idea what the “new media” is, do you?
Here, let me help you out. New media is talk radio, the blogosphere and social media (like Facebook and Twitter).
And here’s your second clue: The New Media was nearly unanimously AGAINST McCain. The conservative side of new media didn’t like McCain because he’s not a conservative, and the liberal side of it (lefty blogs) attacked him because he was running against their beloved Obama.
It was the OLD media that hyped McCain until he got the nomination, then it turned against him to hype Obama.

I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just making a factual observation. You poor, tortured imbecile!?
I feel so bad for you...
:-(
That is Sarah’s funniest facebook post OVER..LOVED IT..I Dare the media to try to smear her now, I bet they wont read her facebook post knowing that she goes after Obama and Biden for the idiot things that they said
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
I love Sarah for this. She is the only person pushing the media’s nose into its mess!!!!!
Excellent post. To think, on Thanksgiving when she was probably quite busy with 5 kids, one grandchild, she not only wrote this pwnage but correctly decided to leave the “Muslim faith” one out of it because it was Freudian.
I love Sarah. I don’t care if she runs for President or not; I’m just glad she is on our side!
You know whats hysterical. Sarah on her twitter account started getting message after message from leftist idiots who thought that SHE was the one saying that there are 57 states..OMG what f’n morons..I guess we know what they DONT read, and that is her entire facebook post, because if they had they would have figured out it was their Marxist messiah who made those idiotic comments. Its like they can’t handle the truth about him, I love reading stuff like that from them. Just proves what idiots they really are
It’s always a most enjoyable experience to know you are smarter than your foe.
Most of the morons in the media (as represented by Couric,Mika n Joe, Olberman) think they are smarter than anybody else. They laugh while the joke is on them.
However, the DNC/RNC Establishment apparatus of insiders as represented by (Axelrod, Rove, etc.) know very well that they are being co-opted by someone who won’t play by their established rules.
Gov. Palin is worth fighting for and against, for both sides. Actually believing in something is a danger to the bad guys and crisp drink to the parched throats of the good guys.
LOL, I was watching that Shep “blow job” slip live. Funny!
When she hits back, it hurts, but mostly from laughter right now!
drilled baby drilled!
“the DNC/RNC Establishment apparatus of insiders as represented by (Axelrod, Rove, etc.) know very well that they are being co-opted by someone who wont play by their established rules.”
I like the sound of it.
Happy Thanksgiving, Sarah!

“ANY potential candidate who knows how to counterattack like that is showing you Presidential timbre.”
Exactly.
And let’s face it—while there is always a need to maintain integrity, sometimes you can try too hard to turn the other cheek. There comes a point when it seems a bit self-absorbed and pretentious.
I mean, you can preserve the integrity of the office and all that, but if your efforts bring political defeat to your party it ruins everything.
Self-absorption can destroy integrity just as much as rolling around in the mud with your critics. Bush’s problem was he was either too self-absorbed or he just didn’t understand that he was doing more harm than good.
I believe Palin knows how to fight back, and do it with integrity.
