He has explained the faith of our American founding fathers like no other in the media. He has exhaustively investigated the current and historical problems with socialism in the U.S. and abroad. He has rallied hundreds of thousands for the 912 Project and the Restoring Honor mass meetings, all the while pointing people to their Creator through, specifically, Jesus Christ.
How amazed I was to watch a possibly ill or exhausted Glenn Beck say on his Monday TV program (after taking off from the radio) that, "I am not talking about a specific religion, just 'God'... whatever you define as God." All of a sudden, Jesus, it seems, has been superseded by Mahatma Gandhi, who Glenn, early in the show, pointed to as a guy who "I should talk to." After he admitted that he was very tired, Beck stared at a giant picture of Gandhi then remarked that "the answer is from this guy."
Glenn admitted that he was just starting to study Gandhi simultaneous to studying the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Christian martyr who rebelled, unlike so many Protestants and Catholics in Nazi Germany, against Adolph Hitler - and paid dearly for it. Bonhoeffer was thought to be involved in a plot to assassinate Hitler, so was summarily hung for his defiance, if not for plotting against Hitler, then for his Christian based resistance to the Third Reich.
Beck went on to explain that Bonhoeffer sought inspiration from Gandhi, which is doubtful. Gandhi derived his philosophy from the Buddhist/Hindu tenants which deny the use of violent force - for any reason. IOW Gandhi would not even violently resist Hitler, I guess.
Gandhi believed in Ahism - a term meaning to do no harm (literally: the avoidance of violence - himsa). It is an important tenet of the Indian Religions(Hinduism Buddhism and especially Jainism). Ahimsa is a rule of conduct that bars the killing or injuring of living beings. Hard to fight wars or enforce laws with such an ulta pacifistic code. Even the New Testament tells us in Romans 13 that "Rulers do not carry the sword in vain." Fortunately, in America every citizen is Constitutionally allowed to carry the sword.
"Gandhi teaches me the principles of love," Beck said during the end of the show. I really hope that he does not miss the point that, "God so loved the world . . . that he gave. . . " not a mere man like Gandhi, but He gave a Son of Man. Quite a different benchmark for showing love.
Glenn may be making the mistake of attempting to unite all religions under a generic godhead - "One God is as good as Another." IOW confusion.
Glenn Beck, as the rest of us, is on a spiritual journey and is looking for answers. He has been a Catholic as I have, and is now a Mormon. I hope he finds out that Jesus is the Answer and that Jesus is the Way, and neither Gandhi nor anyone else can be.
I think I replied to you about web-bot on the wrong thread... oh well.
PING TO END TIMES ETC LIST MOSTLY FOR THE SIGNATURE/ QUOTE AT THE END OF THIS POST FROM THE ATS THREAD:
A little bit down in that thread:

His friend George Ure has given this as the reason on his website:
Clif’s Website Taken Down
Clif’s website www.halfpasthuman.com has been taken offline by his internet provider, although there is no known financial reason for this to have occurred.
Clif has been stonewalled by the ISP as to reason for the site doing down.
His next anticipated release was scheduled for this weekend, but at this point in time, it is unclear whether it will be able to be posted because of the ISP issues.

Only the small secrets need to be protected; the Big ones are kept secret by public incredulity

CHARLESWORTH, JAMES H
VOLUME 2
THE OLD TESTAMENT PSEUDEPIGRAPHA
arrived today. Thought I’d ordered both volumes. This one seems to have Enoc I, II & III, however.
I thought it was Chattsworth. Silly me.
Anyway—hope this is the right one!
Also have Lumpkin’s ENOCH I, II, & III, too.
As though I didn’t have anything else to read! LOL.
LUB
Thanks for the ping!
You need to do a bit more study on that subject. The deism of the founding fathers is a narrative of liberals. A few were deists. Most were Christians. No apologies there. Out and out Christians. The redactions from the Jefferson bible also have a different purpose than one would suppose. Be careful to not perpetuate the seeds of falsehood that the left deliberately sowed in our history books.
Wrote too soon,
Enoch is not in Vol 2.
I hope Vol 1 is still in the mail . . . Sigh.
It is my contention that we exist --are located temporally-- as present beings. Because we rely upon photon mediation, we have a lag time between emission and reception/processing of photon energy.
On a grander scale, the universe appears to us to be temporally located in present. Einstein showed us that 'present' can be malleable based upon the gravitational field strength or acceleration field. HOWEVER, the quantum foam is not malleable in this same reference frame because it is from this foam that photons have arisen, so the quantum foam is 'pre-photon' expression.
Am I accurate so far? ...
Great quote, Quix! And it is the stuff of conspiracy theories that breaks through, sometimes, to end the incredulity.
I thought so.
Thanks for your kind reply.
“My point is this, I am disgusted with the kit and kaboodle and to see threads here that divide those who have a common cause for some petty differences really pisses me off.
Sorry if you have a problem with that....I want my Country back. “
I agree. It is high time we unite under the banner of freedom loving patriots.
I don’t care if it is a narrative of liberals, I only care if it is the truth. Ok, some were Deists, most were Christians, fine. Exchange “many” for “some” and my post doesn’t really change, since it was posted to defend Glen Beck by showing an example of our Founding Fathers.
Regarding Jefferson’s redaction of the New Testament, what do you believe was the purpose?
THX THX.
LUMPKIN’S COPYRIGHT IS 2009 SO SHOULD INCLUDE THE 2004 UPDATE you mentioned along the way . . . or someone did.
LOL.
It was to bring Jesus’ teachings to the Indians. Do I believe Jefferson was a Christian? No. Not from what I read. But he didn’t cut out the supernatural just because he didn’t believe it. He thought that if the Indians could see just the words of Jesus it would have some converting power.
George
Washington was a Mason and so were many of the generals of both the American and British sides which caused quite a bit of pain cause they beleived more in the lodge than the countries they were fighting for.
Sorry, I don’t buy what you are saying. Unless I am completely misreading you, and you are of course free to point where I am, it seems to me that you are trying to explain the Creator in terms of the creation. It’s not going to work. What you are saying is somewhat akin to what, in a much earlier era, was termed modal monarchianism. Your explanation simply does not ring true either in terms of Johannine or creedal theology (which are one and the same, otherwise I would not say, “credo,” “I believe”).
Again, feel free to correct me.
To answer your questions, first, all forces are mediated by particle exchanges.
The photon is the mediator particle for electromagnetism, one of the four fundamental forces and evidently significant to our physical cognition.
However, the graviton is the mediator particle for gravity, also one of the four fundamental forces. Gluons are the mediator particles for the strong atomic force. Electrically charged W-bosons and electrically neutral Z-bosons are the mediator particles for the weak atomic force.
Having said all that, my interest is in geometric physics rather than particle physics.
To me, a particle is like a placemarker in a wave. Here's an interesting article on the difference in our perceptions of reality: Particles versus Waves
Mystics sometimes refer to it as the universal now.
I agree and look forward to your comments!
All realms and realities are the Creation of God Almighty, even spiritual realms. All realms and realities have spatio-temporal expressions, albeit the continua of these other realms are very different from our simple 'present fixed' realm. To cut to the chase, even a thought exists in some spatio-temporal continua, we just haven't found the nature of that realm though we have clues that our 4D realm effects changes and transitions in/of that realm. When Jesus knew what was in the mind of His accusers, He also knew to which where/when He would step in order to 'pass through them' when they took up stones to kill Him for recealing He is I Am come in the flesh.
