First lady Michelle Obama is challenging the nation's restaurants to add more healthy options to menus, label those items more prominently and market nutritious foods to kids.
Speaking at the National Restaurant Association Monday, Mrs. Obama pleaded with restaurants small and large to take a little butter or cream out of their dishes, use low fat milk and provide apple slices or carrots as a default side dish on the kids' menu.

This is like something Romanian strongman Nicolae Ceauşescu and his wife Elena would pull. What, no lobster or Wagyu beef for the school kids, Michelle? Or is that just reserved for the elites, like you?

Out of respect for the office of the president and position of the FLOTUS, I’ll merely say, “Shut up, Shell!”

Michelle needs to look in a mirror. Her “junk in the trunk” could use some serious work.

I have nothing against restaurants providing healthier options. I think that would be good; however, it has to be a decision they make, not one the government forces on them.

Now they want to destroy the restaurant industry. Hey, Michelle, when are you and your family gonna stop eating ice cream?

moochelle and the obomination can afford top price/quality restaurant food every night served to them by top chefs.... and, if that isn’t good enough, take a spin to NY for a night on the taxpayers dime..... just LEAVE THE REST OF US ALONE. she has already tarnished the title of First Lady forever with her mooche-ness.

Forget government regulation...I have grown tired of any and all First Ladies and their pet causes regardless of their husbands’ party. They are focus-grouped loads of codswallop meant to appeal, as always, to the weak-minded and/or easily swayed. If these First Ladies don’t want a political backlash then they should stay out of policy issues altogether even ones couched in fuzzy-wuzzy who-doesn’t-love-kittens sentiment.

We don’t need choice. The government knows best.

I went to a local restaurant this very morning. Had chicken-fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and country gravy.
And she wants to take that away from us?
Michelle, you Bigfoot...you can have my food when you pry my fork from my cold, dead hands! FOAD! ESAD!

This simply amounts to the homeless eating better when the restaurants throw out the uneaten healthy food.
