Have at it.
Oh, hell. He’d hit anything.
Moose, the guy I met yesterday, was a scam artist. Trying to sell me a little sticker to put on my cell phone so it wouldn’t give me brain cancer. I told him he was lucky we met, because I am a Snake Oil salesman he was a quart low.
"LOOK AT ME!!"
Really tick me off
You've probably had that a lot, given you signed up three days after last April Fools' Day.
Does your mouse work? Try hovering over a poster's name in the "by" line.
Had a good laugh at myself.....
I'm quilty! What can I say!! : )
No, sorry. It should have went to Joe. I hate it when people do that. Hey, I hate me!

DOH.
"The fix is in".
Yep, those will show up on most any thread where elections are being discussed, but unless some facts concerning specific races and facts on the ground in specific cities are included, it's all mostly defeatist and a waste of time.
Any use of the non-word “prolly”.

Having a group of AMERICAN conserviatives and asking them to leave their Christianity aside is clueless, idiotic, not going to happen, irrational, . . . etc.
We are by far the biggest group in Conservatism. That’s not going to change. And, our Christianity colors all our perceptions and values about everything—particularly politics, social issues, values etc.
What type of FReeper response most annoys you?
The post that prove me wrong!
Thanks. I’m pretty sensitive these days, even if I don’t always read like it.
I have received a bunny pancake award in my time, however, but I forget from whom. And some hate FReepmail. And the almost banned routine back in the Terri Schiavo precedent move by Soros et al. And the ‘service interruption’ conveniently distributed, typically mid-week @ noon & 5.
Flak is probably a good thing.
I can also go a long tear about things, so I can deserve it.
I have also been wrong about things, most recently about the evac I thought was going to happen due to the oil spill fake crisis. I offended some folks. Of course, maybe by getting the word out, FR helped avert some things, too, like 2A efforts, or, possibly, AGW fraud efforts, drilling bans (maybe) and 1A Internet seizure. The shut down of FR is something ‘certain people’ do have a real hard on for— Truth.
I was also thinking about the straight HTML days, along with my chicken $#it self for reading FR all that time but not joining up. Then there’s the folks who welcomed me (an a lot of us) here on FR, lots of them gone now. Lady in Red comes to mind. Pyx and Brian are still around, I hear. NW_Arizona_Granny and Delawhere, too. Even Floriduh voter, I think.
postings with a 4 word title, a link to a video and absolutely no description of WTH the link is about.
DITTO CALLS FOR POLL TICKING WITHOUT A CLUE in the title what the Poll’s about.
When a disagreement over any issue arises (and it always happens), the protagonists start with the "YOU.....are, an idiot, ignorant, stupid, crazy, yada yada yada." If folks could simply learn to debate without using the word "You", that would solve most of the bad feelings that turn into major hate fests. "You" at the beginning of a sentence in the context of argument is an accusation to begin with. People see it as an attack coming. Learn to say something like: "I don't agree with your position and here is why." Or "This is why I disagree." "I'm hearing you say."
This is free. I don't charge for these short term courses in communication.
LOL. We need a BS salesman to fill zero back. He is several quarts low with all the BS he has been spewing the past few weeks. He may also want to check Joe Bite me’s level when he has time.
Not sure why my #249 was a place to start your comment, but I do agree with it to an extent. But when two people are undeniably disagreeing, the “you” is probably implied even if it’s never put in writing. And, of course, if insulting names and descriptions follow the “you” that’s obvious, but the insults can be thrown in without the “you”, i.e., anyone who believes that is a moron.
I guess the “yous” make things more direct, but their absence won’t prevent all heated exchanges.
Evil socks.
Exactly! We all feel that way sometimes and a *little* venting is one thing, but the *constant* negativity can get overwhelming .
