Yep, those will show up on most any thread where elections are being discussed, but unless some facts concerning specific races and facts on the ground in specific cities are included, it's all mostly defeatist and a waste of time.
When a disagreement over any issue arises (and it always happens), the protagonists start with the "YOU.....are, an idiot, ignorant, stupid, crazy, yada yada yada." If folks could simply learn to debate without using the word "You", that would solve most of the bad feelings that turn into major hate fests. "You" at the beginning of a sentence in the context of argument is an accusation to begin with. People see it as an attack coming. Learn to say something like: "I don't agree with your position and here is why." Or "This is why I disagree." "I'm hearing you say."

Exactly! We all feel that way sometimes and a *little* venting is one thing, but the *constant* negativity can get overwhelming .
