... The ranches are said to be "near Mines Rd. and Minerales Rd. about 10 miles NW of I-35".
Whether it is lone members or squads is not certain.
Anonymous sources in law enforcement in the Laredo area tonight have passed on word that US law enforcement agencies are in the area and are weighing their options regarding the ranches. The media has been silent on this incident and some law enforcement in the area says that they are furious that the media is not reporting the whole story of the continued violence along the border. Their frustrations are understandable because keeping the truth suppressed continues to hamper law enforcement from receiving the true support they need along the border.
The ranch assaults come on the heals of attacks in Nuevo Laredo that shut the city down as a gun-battle raged in the streets. Los Zetas blocked off intersections with vehicles and used fragmentation grenades to attack Mexican law enforcement. In the end 12 were killed and 21 injured in the assaults. Citizens in the area were told to stay in their homes and bullets whizzed all around. ...

Actually Spooky was their call sign,,,
Spooky 13 was the one we called in our AO,,,
The old guy that flew it sounded like the Voice of GOD...;0)
Didn’t Bo say the National Guard would be sent to the border the first of August....perhaps they know this and why the take over of these ranches? Might have something to do with it?
I haven’t read through the entire thread so apologies if this has been posted already:

No, Texas Hasnt Been Invaded
Sgt. Perez informed me that I was her seventh caller about this claim since she came on duty this afternoon. She stipulated two things that blows holes in the invasion claim.
1. The location of the alleged invasion is outside of their city-limits jurisdiction, so they would not be involved, and;
2. while they would not be involved in any law enforcement response outside of their jurisdiction, they work closely with the county sheriffs office and would know if such an event is occurring.
She also provided me the number of the Sheriffs Department. The deputy that answered the phone there was less bemused, having also dealt with this rumor multiple times in a short amount of time. She also told me that there was no invasion and no law enforcement siege, and that deputies were continuing normal operations.
They invade the forests to grow pot........ all over the NW.. and this is not new.
Thank you, FRiend. Even though I knew this kind of thing would happen, it’s still something of a jolt.
I guess the feds have failed in their DUTY to protect each state from invasion.
That’s right. You try to tell people what’s happening and they don’t want to believe it.
I knew about growers in Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern California, but didn’t know they had operations that far north in your neck of the woods.
I consider myself fairly well informed, so if I didn’t know about it, then I have to assume most Americans don’t either, and that’s a shame. This kind of thing should be common knowledge to every taxpayer in the country.
So now it’s not even safe to visit our Western National Parks. What a damn disgrace. There should be an open season and bounty on these scumbags. Then let’s see how fast they run home.
Yeah, I also think they are spinning, too.
I know several DPS troopers and other law enforcement in Texas and they tell me that “diversity” is a big push. It used to be the usual “how-good-are-you-and-who-do-you-know” that got you in, but now diversity gets a vote.
Nope. That jack booted thug (JBT) would probably shoot any women and children, but probably wouldn’t be able to shoot the men. That’s his track record after all. A true coward even when sniping from well outside the range of return fire, may he (using the masculine term very loosely) rot in H#ll.
PS The JBT is still working for H-S Precission last I checked. Screw them. I won’t by a damned thing from them EVER. And neither should any Freeper, TEA Partier, or pro-2nd Amendment person. That said, they probably don’t care. After all, I’m sure they sell plenty to other JBTs just itching to kill some eeeevvviilllll Christians. /hurl
For the record: The JBT did manage to would Harris at Ruby Ridge, so maybe he can shoot men. And there’s no record of if he hit any kids at Waco, where he denies firing any rounds (despite shell casings found by the Texas Rangers at his sniping location).

If every FReeper wrote about this as a letter to the editor to their home town newspaper, and/or called a local or nation talk show, a lot more folks WOULD know.
We have to spread the news.

Thanks for the ping.
My backup computer at home died Saturday, and by the time I finally got logged back on, the mods had added [HOAX] to the title.
I don’t know about more recently, but my Great-Great-Great Grandfather was a Texas Ranger and he was only 5’2” and 100 lbs. This would have been sometime in the last half of the 1800s. Of course, if the stories about him are true, he didn’t need to be any bigger than that to get the job done. :)
