Obama's private army? (Could 'our' president feel threatened?)
Canada Free Press ^ | 4/11/2010 | Henry Lamb

Who knew that Obamacare provides for a “Regular Corps,” and a “Ready-Reserve Corps,” of officers and individuals who are appointed by the President? Commissioned officers are subject to active duty at the call of the Surgeon General. The new law provides $17.5 million in each of the first four years to recruit and train these reserves.

During his campaign, Obama said “We cannot continue to rely only on our military…we’ve got to have a civilian security force just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set.” Beginning of Obama’s civilian security force

Section 5210 of the Patient’s Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obamacare) may be the beginning of Obama’s civilian security force. This section amends Section 203 of the U.S. Public Health Service Act. Why it was included in the massive health care bill is a question in search of meaningful answers. Judge Andrew Napolitano from FOX News has a few questions of his own.

The new law says “The purpose of the Ready Reserve Corps is to fulfill the need to have additional Commissioned Corps personnel available on short notice (similar to the uniformed service’s reserve program) to assist regular Commissioned Corps personnel to meet both routine public health and emergency response missions.”

The law requires the Ready Reserve to participate in “routine training” to meet the general and specific needs of the Commissioned Corps. The Ready Reserve “shall” be ready for involuntary calls to active duty. The Ready Reserve must be prepared to respond to orders from the President to go anywhere in the country, or anywhere outside the country. Posse Comitatus Act

Too bad for him that Ernst Rohm committed suicide in the late 1930’s. No body to lead the Obama brownshirts.

= =- = = = = = =
He will have the other E. Rahm do it. Chalk it up to variant of spelling between English and German.

In the 90’s I thought I would die before I said this, but...

I MISS Bill Clinton.

He was nothing compared to this demon.

16,500 new IRS agents. Coincedence? I think not.

I believe that eventually the military will be paid with worthless dollars, and will simply dissolve. This is the eventuality that I’m trying to prepare for.

That was the approach of Aristide after Clinton returned him to power in Haiti. His first act was to dsissolve the military. They had forced him from power once. He was not going to allow them to do so again.

There is no question but that Obama is forcing the country into a Constitutional crisis.

I do believe it.

And the unspoken statement following that is any civil war afterwards will be house to house, neighbor against neighbor, which is a horror that truely scares me down to my marrow.

Not that Obama and the left cares, though.

I have no doubt of the threat, and this is one of the subtle enablers. But this is no budding SA, that will come from elsewhere, perhaps in the reborn ACORN.

Just like in the good old days of the USSR: If you become a nuisance to the State, first they declare you to be "insane" and then the send federal forces out to drag you away for "safe keeping".

Exactly right - I also have made similar postings. When
Americans are told where the $500 Billion went and who's fingerprints were on the button, then we will get a glimpse of who the real puppeteer is. $500 Billion does not just vanish in a couple of hours due to the vagaries of the free and open market. Openness and transparency are NOT the workings of this Admin or this Congress. Anyone remember Piglosi accusing the CIA of lying to her and other lawmakers about enhanced interrogation techniques used by the agency on terrorism? That quickly died with no answers coming forth or any prosecution of her little lying episode.

King G. Soros anyone? With the MARXISTS in complete control this fact is hidden forever through many layers of deceit.

Say goodbye to Posse Comitatus.

These initiatives are usually laid down in pieces, over time -- so as not to attract too much attention. The boiling frog syndrome. Posse Comitatus has already been effectively neutralized by fine print in prior (and always, unrelated) legislation.

The totalitarians KNOW that eventually the public will catch on to their power grab. This is why these planks are being laid now -- many as "sleepers" that are not immediately implemented, but which can be invoked at any time, along with the commentary: "Well, it's been law for YEARS, so what's the worry?".

After government police and military have been organized to stamp out any resistance, they will come after our guns. Our weapons are our last, best hope.

IF they’re even aware of what happened in Cuba in ‘58, which is doubtful.

Wouldn't have happened, if Eisenhower had a clue who he was financing to oust Battista, then we had the further traitorous action of Kennedy, at the Bay of Pigs, not unlike "Black Hawk Down," only much worse.

Beginning with the limited war Harry Truman insisted on fighting to appease the Ruskies. We been a long time getting here.

The SA was wiped out by orders of the military...

Wasn't the SA essentially a goon squad to protect the early Nazi rallies? After they'd served their purpose, and the Nazi Party was actually in power, why not take them out of the picture....

Based on historical precedent, it is far more likely that US troops will fire on American citizens than depose a sitting president.

All Officers (enlisted men take a different but similar oath), Most Policemen, All Congressmen, All Senators, Most Judges and the list goes on.

And many civilians although not taking the oath are none the less bound by it.
