The flight surgeon charged with caring for Army Chief of Staff General George W. Casey's pilots and air crew wants President Obama to prove his eligibility now.
AMEN !
MASTERFULLY DONE, BRO.
THX.
THX for your kind reply.
Seriously, there’ve been several officers who have joined Birther lawsuits and none of them have gone anywhere. Neither will this.

Do they kick them out on standing grounds? Why don’t Americans have a right to proof of Presidential eligibility?
John McCain.
_______________
And I just got this. So you think the only person the courts would accept as having standing would be the opposing candidate?
And what a stink that would have raised if McCain had brought the suit. It would have underlined that Obama at his core is essentially un-American — and it would have dredged up something about Obama he wants to hide even if he could have kept running.
SCOTUS also said eligibility was the responsibility of Congress. Is SCOTUS bought-off, too? Threatened?

Is that how they are disposing of these? Political question, not our branch?
That’s a cop out since both President and Congress are party politics; only the SC can be anything even approaching fair in deciding to look at the evidence. A Dem Congress is going to give a pass to a Dem President.
NOW. Will a Republican Congress? : )
Sometimes I get carried away.
imho . . .
Getting carried away in more or less accurately communicating truth . . . even via satire . . .
is admirable.
I normally have no interest in fiction - no TV, movies, fiction or novels interest me. I like truth. But my imagination got the best of me tonight!
Rest peacefully -
I rarely read fiction these days either. Sometimes should to get away from the heavy stuff more often.
LUBBRO.
However, then, the fiction I’d want to bother with ends up as heavy as the nonfiction! LOL.
I just sent this story to Drudge
Not all of them. Just those who don’t have anything else to offer.
No.
The law generally is.
There were a lot of things in that definition he could base his defense on.
For example?
The were all dismissed for a number of reasons, standing being one of them.
Why dont Americans have a right to proof of Presidential eligibility?
Where is that right enumerated?
Not all candidates. But the courts have found that opposing candidates due have standing to sue if their opponent is found to be ineligible. McCain being the only real opponent with a chance to win the election, he could make a case for damages if Obama is actually ineligible.
And what a stink that would have raised if McCain had brought the suit.
Stink or no stink, if McCain believed Obama was ineligible then he should have sued. The fact that he didn't seems to indicate he doesn't take Birthers seriously.
SO, does that mean this 'case' DOA?
Where is that right enumerated?

The Constitutional requirements for Presidential eligibility is the law to be enforced (where it is enumerated in your language).

I don’t know about the implications there. McCain has a tendency to dismiss all conservatives and conservative ideas and go with whatever will make the journalists happy.
