Video of Kirk Cameron Giving Away Free Copies Of "Origin of Species"

Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort have found a loophole and dicided to exploit it for Christ. It would seems that Charles Darwin's book, "Origin of Species", is considered public domain by the law. So what Kirk and Comfort have done was open a hornets nest by distributing hundreds of thousands of free copies of Darwin's book with Christian material and messages as a forward. Then they distributed them for free at universities across America and Europe. The 50 page introduction picks apart aspects of Charles Darwin’s work and links it to everything from Nazi eugenics to the scientist’s alleged ‘disdain for women.”

Now you can watch the video below that was of put out by their way of the master organization that headed up the bold plan of taking on Darwin and his book. Cameron had said before the plan was carried out on November 18, 2009 that,

“Atheism has been on the rise for years now, and the Bible of the atheists is The Origin of Species. We have a situation in our country where young people are entering college with a belief in God and exiting with that faith being stripped and shredded. What we want to do is have student make an informed, educated decision before they chuck their faith.”

Kirk Cameron says, “I am proud to bring this to people’s attention. You see things in the world that are truly distressing and you think, ‘What can I do?’ Well this is something I can do.”

I think this is totally cool. Using Darwin's book to get the truth out.

I've nearly finished reading 'Signature in the Cell' which shows a very credible case for Intelligent Design. I highly recommend it.

Since people won’t buy it, I suppose giving it away is the best they can do. It would make for good puppy liter or maybe good kindling for a fireplace. Even Darwin refuted that rant of a book.

Let's see, scientific critique from a Tiger Beat cover-boy and a guy that doesn't believe in evolution because bananas are easy to hold - sorry, can't buy it.

Just watched “Tribulation Force” (Left Behind) last night - it was really good.

I hope the ugly truth of Darwin comes out.

Hitler, Obama, Planned Parenthood all have the same thing in common - love of death, racisim and anything EVIL so they can play god.

Darwin actually refuted what was in his own book later.

Kudoos for getting the truth out.

I’ll check it out. I have a friend that is reading over in Iraq, his mom sent him, but he has yet to me what he thinks.

My apology.

I thought a dumbed down Darwin person was trying to sell his idiotic lies as truth. Darwin was a disturbed person who advocated a fantasy with NO EVIDENCE to support it.

You may not, but if their target group is young people and college students, being a “Tiger Beat” cover is not a disadvantage. I think it’s a great idea.

What does ID have to do with God making a man from whole cloth and then using one of his ribs to make a woman?

ID is just a step towards TRUE creationists, not a scientific bridge.

Excellent. They're doing a great service.

My point is that neither of these two has the intellectual capacity to even begin to challenge the most basic biological fundamentals and should therefore be ignored.

Only if you think lying is “great service”. I thought there was some admonition against bearing false witness.

My guess is that Cameron feels that evolution is not just a theory couched in scientific clothing, but a treatise of the religion of atheists. If you still feel smug about checking it out, the film by Ben Stein,”Expelled-No Intelligence Allowed” might be better fare. Stein interviews the “real scientists” who feed the evolution machine as well as those other scientists ( yes, with PhD’s etc.) who make a case for intelligent design in the universe and are swiftly vilified by their colleagues. It is worth a watch if not just to hear Richard Dawkins revert to assigning the origin of life to extraterrestrials. Funny.

And you are an expert on intellectual capacity, or should we ignore you, too?

You've been here for almost twelve years. You should know better than to troll on religious threads.
