Why would anyone want to ban a commercial featuring Adam and Eve? In this case, some people just couldn't take a joke.
Centraal Beheer is an insurance company from The Netherlands which has run a series of very successful commercials where something goes unexpectedly, sometimes horribly, wrong in the end ...
The request from the insurance company is "just call us." In other words: they are there for you in good times and bad, to help you with life's unexpected tragedies.
Although some commercials have received praise as well as prestigious awards, others have been banned from the airwaves. One of those was a Bill Clinton commerical, and another one featured Adam and Eve from the Bible's creation story. As if eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not tragic enough, the advertising team created another unexpected fate.
Should this commerical have been pulled from circulation?

Well, now we know why Eve ate a fruit from the tree of the knowledge and gave Adam the fruit to eat as well.

This evangelical Christian thought it was rather funny. I see no need to pull the ad.
Actually, I would think it would be gay groups that were irritated ... we wouldn’t want people thinking homosexuality indicates that something went wrong.

I like this one. The Adam and Eve one didn’t do anything for me.

Where did Adam and Eve get belly buttons?? My best guess is that God gave 'em to 'em. Original design and all that...

Where did Adam and Eve get belly buttons?? That's where God blew the breath of life and inflated them. ;-)
