I was wondering - I was born in France - may be in France they had german in the military since they love loosing wars and surrender but I was wondering if we had german in the US Army during world war 2 - did they have german in the english Army?
Just saying..
The enemy is within and even our own army does not ahve the courage to acknowledge that THE ENEMY IS WITHIN.
FREAKING POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!! I AM SICK OF THAT.
And soo soo sad. A 21 year old PRAGNET woman, just coming back from Irak, DIED YESTERDAY BECAUSE WE LET MUSLIM - THE ENEMY - IN THE US ARMY!!!
THIS HAS TO STOP!
THE INSANITY HAS TO STOP!!! WE ARE AT WAR AND WE CARE MORE ABOUT THE ENEMY THAT FOR OUR OWN MILITARY.
THIS HAS TO STOP!!!
You point is taken, though.
The japanese who served were desperate to prove that they were loyal Americans, and they served heroically.
We’ve lost the ability to tell the difference between people who love America, and people who hate it. You’re not allowed to notice that the haters hate us. “Are you impugning their patriotism?” Yes, I am.
Why didn’t anyone take notice of the fact that this guy hated America? They didn’t want to single him out as a muslim? Fine, I get that. How about singling him out as a guy who hated America, and wanted the jihadists to win? How about singling him out as a freak who got excited when a maniac attacked an American recruiting station?
My family is part German. I had a great uncle who was killed when his boat carrying supplies to Russia from the U.S. was sunk by a German U-Boat.
You are confused. Ethnicity or ancestry has much less of a tie on someone’s loyalties than their religion. Islam is a religion, a belief system, independent of someone’s genetics and ancestry. Look at the wannabe white terrorists who have taken Muslim names as an example of the flaw in your rant.
As for the military being multicultural. Its been that way for a long time.
“Thats not the problem. It is a very good thing that the military is multicultural. The problem is when it indulges in multiculturism!”
The fifth column formed out of the unholy alliance between radical Islam and the American left is now entrenched in the White House and throughout our government. And in matters like the Muslim jihadist Major Hasan our military is its captive.
The Fort Hood massacre is the first of the preventable atrocities we have been warning about on our websites since 9/11 the atrocities which are apparently necessary for Americans to wake up to the threat that confronts us. We have a vast internal threat in this country in the form of this unholy alliance between the anti-American Left and radical Islam whose Muslim Brotherhood network extends through our universities, our government and our military. It is politically incorrect to recognize this fact. http://newsrealblog.com/2009/11/06/our-brain-dead-country/
You got it right, friend. We left Germany behind when the boat left the dock in Hamburg. Plus, many, many Massachusetts Puritans are of Anglo and Saxon descent. THIS is the shining city on a hill. Not Germany with all of its problems...
Reply meant for orig poster , sorry.
Have you been to Arlington Cemetery? I have. When I last went, I saw a number of Muslim symbols carved on the graves of young men who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. If I remember the section, I would tell you. I was surprised to see these symbols. I am not saying there were hundreds but there were enough to make me remember.
An extremist religion did not kill these young men yesterday. A crazed gunman, who should not have been serving and should have been removed from service, did.
Just saying.
There were so many Germans in my home town that if they didn't serve there would have been no army.
Sure we had Germans in the US Army. They just were not running around giving the Fascist salute and trying to persuade their fellow soldiers to become Nazis.
Italians also.
Yes, that is badly put. We had German Americans, but we didn’t have any Nazis. We didn’t enroll Nazis in our army and send them to medical school. We did not allow them to enlist and then send them to fight Nazis in Germany.
There were a large number of German born soldiers in the American Army during World War II. Most of them were Jews. I worked for one. Kissinger was another. The guy I worked for had a thick Katzenjammer accent and I remember having lunch with some customers and he spoke about his experiences during “the war”. You could have heard a pin drop. Of course, he spent the war in the Pacific and in context, it became clear what he was talking about.
BTW, he started his career working for Norden some years after the war and his boss was a REAL German who spent the war designing bombsights for the Luftwaffe. He claimed he had a Norden bombsight on his desk during the entire war and wasn’t very impressed with it.
Some famous Germans aided the Allies, for instance Marlene Dietrich did USO tours and never set foot in Germany after 1939.
Great man, FDR. Progressive, you see. Great man.
We also had a media that was generally on our side of the conflict.
[they love loosing wars]
Did you mean to search for: they love losing wars
Thank you :-)
And again, I truly apologize for saying german - I should have said NAZIS.. stupid me.
But what drives me nuts, is that it seems that THEY KNEW at least since 6 months that the guy was not a America lover.. they KNEW and did NOTHING! And now 12 great Americans are dead.
PC will kill us all.
