The human brain consists of approximately 12 billion cells, forming 120 trillion interconnections. The light sensitive retina of the eye (which is really part of the brain) contains over 10 million photoreceptor cells. These cells capture the light pattern formed by the lens and convert it into complex electrical signals, which are then sent to a special area of the brain where they are transformed into the sensation we call vision.
In an article in "Byte" magazine (April 1985), John Stevens compares the signal processing ability of the cells in the retina with that of the most sophisticated computer designed by man, the Cray supercomputer:

Really, evolution was banned, right! Where do you think they came up w/their Master Aryan race and Eugenics? Those myths may work in the public school system but not here. Nice try.

—Evolution wasn’t banned under Stalin, but Darwinism was, as being opposed to their ideology. Espousing Darwinism in Stalin’s USSR wasn’t conducive to staying alive. They instead favored Lysenkoism.

—The “Aryan race” idea was Gobineau, an anti-evolutionist who came up with the idea before Origin of Species was published.
As for the inspiration for eugenics, Hitler credits the ancient Spartans:

The exposure of the sick, weak, deformed children, in short, their destruction, was more decent and in truth a thousand times more humane than the wretched insanity of our day which preserves the most pathological subject, and indeed at any price, and yet takes the life of a hundred thousand healthy children in consequence of birth control or through abortions, in order subsequently to breed a race of degenerates burdened with illnesses.”
I don’t hate Christians, I am one. Of the oldest Christian denomination, one quite comfortable with evolution as there is nothing anti Christian about it. I just refuse to give in to the Cretins who think they are the only Christians in existance.
No EVOLUTION is a scientific theory that trys to explain the development of life on Earth using standard scientific practice and principles. CREATIONISM is a belief, a faith, a religion. INTELLIGENT DESIGN is a ruse designed to repackage Creationism as a real science. Get it?
