OK, I’ll admit I’m very green and never been to a protest. I can understand the officer being concerned about fanning flames over an incendiary situation and therefore not allowing the sign with the Joker-painted face of Obama.
I don’t recall any nasty pictures of Bush at protests, but I am getting old and forgetful.

I just contacted the Fairfax County PD, Reston District 703-478-0904 hit 0 for Operator. She confirmed there is no Officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. You need to ask for their badge number.
