Miss California possibly dethroned for stance against gay marriage

When Miss California, Carrie Prejean, was asked her stance on gay marriage in last night’s Miss USA pageant, the California beauty responded honestly, and it may have cost her the crown.
Gay gossip blogger and Miss USA judge Perez Hilton responded angrily in a video blog after the competition, calling Miss California, “a dumb b----.”

Odd. On what grounds would it cost her her throne? It is the majority opinion in this country, and even in California. And it IS just an opinion.
I think some just want this to be more controversial than it is.
Whatever sells papers, I suppose.

In California we had something called Proposition 8. It passed. Miss California just said she was against gay marriage, and they want to kick her out? We are moving towards Totalitarianism quicker thna I thought.
I say we kick out the b*****d pageant officials who would remove her instead.

I find this odd only because they asked for an opinion. She gave it. If she is to be judged, then judge on the clarity and articulation of her opinion. Not if the content is somehow someway pro/con an issue.

Why is a homosexual judging the Miss USA pageant? The unfortuate thing is that this corn holer cost her the crown and a scholarship. I respect her for sticking to her convictions, it would have been easy for her to give the PC answer that the butt pirate judge was looking for. I usually don’t call names, but each of the terms I used is much more accurate than “dumb blond b***ch” used used by the a$$ bandit judge to describe Ms. Prejean.
