These figures area rough estimate of the death of non-Muslims by the political act of jihad.
Africa
Thomas Sowell [Thomas Sowell, Race and Culture, BasicBooks, 1994, p. 188] estimates that 11 million slaves were shipped across the Atlantic and 14 million were sent to the Islamic nations of North Africa and the Middle East. For every slave captured many others died. Estimates of this collateral damage vary. The renowned missionary David Livingstone estimated that for every slave who reached a plantation, five others were killed in the initial raid or died of illness and privation on the forced march.[Woman’s Presbyterian Board of Missions, David Livingstone, p. 62, 1888] Those who were left behind were the very young, the weak, the sick and the old. These soon died since the main providers had been killed or enslaved. So, for 25 million slaves delivered to the market, we have an estimated death of about 120 million people. Islam ran the wholesale slave trade in Africa.

The number of Christians martyred by Islam is 9 million [David B. Barrett, Todd M. Johnson, World Christian Trends AD 30-AD 2200, William Carey Library, 2001, p. 230, table 4-10] . A rough estimate by Raphael Moore in History of Asia Minor is that another 50 million died in wars by jihad. So counting the million African Christians killed in the 20th century we have:

Koenard Elst in Negationism in India gives an estimate of 80 million Hindus killed in the total jihad against India. [Koenard Elst, Negationism in India, Voice of India, New Delhi, 2002, pg. 34.] The country of India today is only half the size of ancient India, due to jihad. The mountains near India are called the Hindu Kush, meaning the “funeral pyre of the Hindus.”

Buddhists do not keep up with the history of war. Keep in mind that in jihad only Christians and Jews were allowed to survive as dhimmis (servants to Islam); everyone else had to convert or die. Jihad killed the Buddhists in Turkey, Afghanistan, along the Silk Route, and in India. The total is roughly 10 million. [David B. Barrett, Todd M. Oddly enough there were not enough Jews killed in jihad to significantly affect the totals of the Great Annihilation. The jihad in Arabia was 100 percent effective, but the numbers were in the thousands, not millions. After that, the Jews submitted and became the dhimmis (servants and second class citizens) of Islam and did not have geographic political power.
This gives a rough estimate of 270 million killed by jihad.

Thirty-five years ago, on December 16, 1971, the Pakistan army unconditionally surrendered to the Indian Army at the Dhaka Racecourse in Bangladesh. With the stroke of a pen, Bangladesh was born. That birth, however, came at an enormous cost. Before the Pakistan army and its local collaborators were finally subdued by the Indian Army, they had slaughtered up to 3 million Bengalis in nine months of madness.
This is the story of that slaughter. This is the story of genocide in Bangladesh.
In 1971, Bangladesh, then called East Pakistan, was part of a geographical monstrosity created by the British in 1947. Pakistan, as created by the British, consisted of West Pakistan and East Pakistan, separated by the vast expanse of the Indian land mass in the middle. East and West Pakistan spoke different languages and were culturally distinct. East Pakistan accounted for the majority of Pakistan's population, yet it was economically exploited and politically marginalised by West Pakistan.
Bengalis, the people of East Pakistan, were also persecuted for speaking their native language and for being either Muslims who had converted from Hinduism or for being Hindus. Pakistan, translated as 'The Land of the Pure', was intolerant of Bengalis because they were not 'pure' Muslims.

Leaving the ‘slave owners’ aside for the moment... the main traders that have rooted them out from their land in Africa were A R A B S!
That does not follow: the article points out that Islam ran the wholesale slave trade in Africa, and that 14 million Africans were enslaved by the Muslims themselves, while 11 million were sent to the New World. If one apportions blame for the deaths to the customers in proportion, the Western Christians of the New World would be complicit to whatever degree one deems appropriate for customers of an immoral trade in about 53 million of those deaths.
While there is some moral argument for holding that buyers are to some degree morally implicated in the actions of their suppliers, it is a somewhat thin argument: neither the law nor fathers confessor expect punishment or penance for murder to be given to the customer for buying products from a sweatshop where the conditions have killed workers (thought the latter might impose a penance if the customer knew and didn’t care).
Don’t forget that many of the African slaves went to Arabia — you still have African slaves there. The Arabs, however, castrated their slaves, so no descendents....

(Palestinian, Druze, and Sunni) Then Syria attacked the core Christian community that gave Lebanon "its special national distinction." During "the 100 Days War" in mid-1978, Syria blasted Christian East Beirut, driving out 300,000 people, etc. The idea was to destroy the Christians and make Lebanon "more Arab" along the Syrian model. The Syrians were responsible for the deaths of approximately 100,000 Lebanese and the flight of about a half a million people from the country.
