I'm sick of Republicans

Y’all want to hear somethin’ funny? I recently had a revelation. I don’t have to vote Republican. In fact, I’m leaning towards voting straight Dem in the Fall. Once the Republicans get done #### up immigration reform, so that we have full amnesty coupled with no enforcement and greatly increased illegal immigrant rights, I think I’ll be done voting for them for a while.

Look at it this way. The almighty republican that was running for township supervisor had a pro Kerry sign planted proudly in his yard. He wanted to close the gun range for no apparent reason and made his pro abortion views well known.

The democrat who ran against him donated the land for the gun range, made his pro Bush stance well known and actually wanted and helps to cut unneeded services and taxes.

If I had voted for the letter R, I would have gotten a liberal. Instead the democrat won and we got a true conservative.

I wouldn't be surprised if alot of people vote democrat as a way to get back at Republicans who have ignored those of us who have faithfully gone out and voted for what we thought was the party most in line with our ideals.

That would be an excellent way to prove how stupid you are.

Mad at Republicans? Vote for even more pain.

Broke your toe? Teach it a lesson by crushing your entire foot.

And feel superior while doing it.

"Unfortunately for the power-hungry Republicans..."

Name a few "power-hungry" Republicans for me, would you? I'll bet every single one you name is a RINO. And they don't count.

For example, Senator McCain? ROFLMAO! He's Hillary in Man Pants (versus Hil's 'Old Crusty,' her faithful black pantsuit.)

Please? I'm dying to know who these "power-hungry" Republicans are. ;)

I'm as sick of some of them as you are -- but not all of them. I've been thinking that more of us should become delegates and/or get involved more with the process so that we can decide who the candidates will be. That takes time and effort and frankly I hate politics, but unless we get involved in the process -- not just pulling the lever on voting days -- nothing will change. Voting Dem is not an option for me -- it's suicide.

I think it's more like when your husband or wife betrays you with a stranger and you in turn do their enemy. It may not be the smart thing but it's sure to leave a mark.

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I am a Conservative. I will vote for the candidate with the best mix of conservative values. Often that is a Republican. Seldom that is a Democrat. Sometimes that may be a third party candidate. And sometimes that is a blank spot in my ballot. I'm just sick of the liberalism BS no matter who is serving it up.

Close. It's more like complaining that the elevator isn't getting you to the top of the building fast enough, so you cut the cables.

Actually it's more like being screwed by those you elect to do a job who once in office flip you the bird.

Your left to watch in distress as everything you and your family for generations worked, fought and died for being stolen from you and given to people who never have and never will shed a drop of blood earning it.

I'm sick to death of seeing the Country my ancestors fought for being taken over by ingrates while those of us who should be enjoying the fruits of generations of labor are being F****D by our own elected officials who are suppose to defend our Country and it's citizens from these invasions.

If you'd actually step back and look at the GOP and the conservative movement in this country from any kind of a historical perspective, you'd realize that we're moving more to the right.

Thirty years ago, the face of the GOP was the northeast Republican. Nelson Rockefeller, even Ike Eisenhower. Richard Nixon to a large extent.

We've moved far to the right of them, largely thanks to the leadership of Reagan, but it's getting progressively better. Even Reagan didn't attempt to address the timebomb of Social Security, nor did he try to come up with a realistic solution to illegal immigration.

We're at least talking about those things today.

It's never perfect and political shifts are rarely dramatic. We have to yearn for the stars and settle for incremental gains. That's the way the Constitution was drafted and it's largely worked quite well so far.

Power is limited.

That's a good thing.

We don't have 30 years to figure this out. The invaders here need to be removed from our Country before they take up arms againsts American citizens for their wants. They have become very bold by being able to push around our President. His lack of a backbone has put us all in danger.

I'm calling BS on this one. If you're one of those who think the hotel maids are going to take up AK-47s to conquer Texas, you're nuts.

Rational discussion is needed here. You're not helping.

Beat me to it Lucy.

Looks like I'll have to vote on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesay, Thursday AND Friday to make sure ;-)

Monday is Republican, Tuesday Democrat, Wednesday Libertarian, Thursday all of the above (spoil my ballot Florida style), Friday I'll sit out in protest

Cheers!

You haven't been paying attention to the marches. They have enough men here they don't need the hotel maid, who is more than willing to take what they think it theirs.

I have never had a problem with the term spaz. I thought it was someone who was on too much coffee or something. I am no fan of Tiger, but I cant see where he meant harm. He volunteers allot in the Orlando area with special needs children. I think the people who came out against him have a race problem, IMO
Pinging....
