Someone PLEASE check out possible Gannon/"Buckhead" connection
I don't have the capability of doing this, but some of you sneaky bastards do.
If Gannon is the source of the TANG documents, which were an obvious White House plant, then there MUST be some connection between Gannon and "Buckhead" the Freeper blogger who raised questions about the typefont used in the documents.
Remember, "Buckhead" has been identified as Harry MacDougald, an Atlanta attorney (Buckhead is a suburb of Atlanta). He is a member of the Federalist Society and is on the Legal Advisory Board of the Southeastern Legal Foundation, which advocates "limited government, individual economic freedom, and the free enterprise system."
It should be noted here that the former CEO of the Southeastern Legal Foundation was charged with public indency after fondling himself and a (MALE) police officer in the Chattahoochie National River Park, just east of Atlanta.
There are many other facts here. Come on, folks, let's connect the dots!!

It now appears that Jeff Gannon could be the thread that unravels the real story behind the TANG/CBS forgeries. I have put together a case here that if looked at carefully by the blogosphere would show that the TANG forgeries were made by the White House, probably Dan Bartlett, and then given to Bill Burkett by a former associate of Karl Rove, Roger Stone. Stone's wife, Nydia, who is Cuban, was most likely the Hispanic lady on the phone who convinced Burkett the documents were real and that he should burn them after copying them to protect her honor.
The hot rumor in New York political circles has Roger Stone, the longtime GOP activist, as the source for Dan Rather's dubious Texas Air National Guard "memos." ...

Gannon was apparently used by the White House to ID Mapes as the CBS producer and to try and conflate the Abu Ghraib photos she revealed as sourceless as the TANG docs.

I see our departed John Galt posted Justin Raimondo's article...Justine must really love this Gannon story.
He's probably got a crush on Gannon. Poor Gannon.
It's a thing of pristine beauty. The lefties have thrown themselves into the Conspiracy Lake and don't even realize that they're all wet. It's giving my dry humor a free wash.
Somehow they've convinced themselves that CBS fact-checkers and source-verifiers are so easily decieved that the White House could type up a fake Guard document, in the wrong format (like they wouldn't have had the correct fonts and formatting styles), and have a Republican operative give them to CBS in time to be assured that they aired before the election.
...And they are off on *that* TANGent due to their wild-eyed conspiracy theories over a gay reporter who got outed for daring to ask a single conservative question at a White House press conference (aparently it only takes one Log Cabin conservative to outnumber the entire liberal White House press corps).
Yet while the left side of the blogosphere is flailing about in these black (helicopter) waters, the adults in charge are busy kicking the Democrats squarely in their teeth via massive tort reform that defunds the Left's trial lawyers, among other things.
Oh sure, flail away at bloggers like Gannon and NCPAC and Buckhead, all while our elected officials are "left" alone to reform Washington unfettered.
How can this entire situation fail to make me smile?!
At best, the Democrats are taking shots at our mascots(though Gannon and Buckhead and NCPAC are too independent to even be labeled as that) while our team marches down the field at our leisure.
Heck, they might as well be blitzing our band; they certainly aren't going to get to our quarterback by continuing their efforts on their own sidelines!
