A HIGH LEVEL OF PISSEDTIVITY!!!!!!!!!! I would say. I was not surprised when I saw that the 121st Signal Battalion Of the 1st Infantry Division was dissbanned over-seas. With the frantinizing of the Officer's and Enlisted soilders threw all the ranks, the widespread drug use and GOD only knows what else.

So yes I was court martialed, given artical 15, and was ultimatlly given an Other than Honorable Discharge. I sure could of all been avoided if only I were to either: Backmail my commanding officer who was already had a hard-on for me, or if i would have dropped the dime on what would seem like half the Battalion. If you have not noticed I did niether, but was trying to take the high road. Damm was I nieve to belive that walking tall and being accountable for one's own actions would prove greater in the long run, or was I?

First off, Setup4failure, get yourself a good dictionary and, for crying out loud, learn to spell! Secondly, a courts martial, (yes, it’s spelled “courts”) and an Article 15 are two different things. A member may be offered an Article 15 (non-judicial punishment) in lieu of a courts martial. If he/she accepts the Article 15 offer, his commanding officer may levy any number of punishments. That punishment may be additional duty during the member’s off-time and may also include a reduction in rank, for example. And, just for clarification, Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice permits this form of punishment in lieu of courts martial to avoid having the military judicial system cluttered and overwhelmed while rectifying chicken-shit behavior which can best be handled at the local level.

I was with HQ & HQ Company of the 121st for 4 months in ‘62. At Ft. Riley, KS. Everyone was straight and moral at that time.
